Falling in hate

Chapter 1

On the eve of Xmas, 2019 while everyone was preparing to celebrate, Selene was feeling sullen and depressed. Her phone had not rung for two days. The man she loved had not called. The man she adored had disappeared. She didn't dare to tell her sister what had happened.  Two nights earlier under the bridge where they usually met something happened that would change her life forever. Not even Jill would understand. Her parents would kill her if they found out. She had promised never to see Randy again and she broke that promise. Just this once she had told herself and let him know the truth. She hoped he would understand the fear that rose up in her if her parents found out.  She had to see him one more time. And big mouthed Jill would do anything to please Daddy. Daddy who held a few secrets of his own. His favorite secret's name was Brandy his Assistant who lived not even a sneeze from Randys mother's house. The house where we made love for the first time.  Back to that night, my instincts alerted me that something was wrong. I got the feeling that Randy was in danger. I've been so focused on hiding from Jill all evening that I didn't think of what my love was going through. He said earlier that he owed some very bad men a lot of money. He didn't have the money and lost the drugs in a gambling ring. He said he only wanted a better life for us. We planned to start a family as soon as he turned 21 and by Xmas he would make all my dreams come through. I heard Jill coming up the stairs so I creeped out my bedroom window and out into the cold dark night. I'm coming Randy is all I thought and I love you baby is all I felt. I snuck down the side of the park gates and followed the familiar path to our meeting spot. I swear I heard his voice sounding angry and full of fear. I started walking faster through the thickness of the trees, I saw car lights. No one is supposed to be on the bridge after dark. This area is off limits to cars once the park closes at dusk. Somethings not right. I ran to the under side of the bridge to listen to the voices. It was my love and he was being punched repeatedly and I wanted to jump out and make them stop. Randy, my baby, why here and why tonight. The world is not fair. I love you. A deep voice told him to get in the car and the door slammed. Then the man asked someone who he called The Boss what should we do with him. "Take him to Dr Strange, he owes me, Time for some real fun".

I will find you baby and that is a promise I will keep.
