Chapter 2

   Alice's P.O.V

      Rebekah and I went into town for the day. After many hours we tired of walking and talking. We decided to leave, but before we could leave, Rebekah ran into a boy she fancied. She turned to me and said," You go on home ice. (ice is the mikaelsons nickname for Alice) I'm stay going to stay behind for a little." I smirked nodded and climbed into the carriage.

   After a short ride I arrived at Mikaelson Manor. I stepped out of the carriage and walked the short distance into the house. In the house I could hear Nik and Elijah fighting. This was normal. But as I stepped in front of Nik's room I heard Nik say something that broke my unbeating heart into a million pieces. He yelled," I never loved Alice she was just a distraction, a toy." A I stood there froze for a moment until a sob escaped my lips and in the next second Nik opened the door with an angry look on his dace, but when he saw that it was me, his eyes filled with guilt. I vanished to my room and I packed everything using vamp speed. Before leaving I wrote a note for Rebekah and Kol saying that I was leaving and never coming back.

   Placing the letters down I turned and was greeted with Niklaus and Elijah standing in the door way of my room. I had tears running down my face. I looked pass Niklaus to Elijah and said," Goodbye, Lijah it was nice knowing you. " Elijah looked sad and tried to say something but I turned around and jumped out the window.
 
     I ran and ran and ran, but the pain was to much. I stopped for a moment and leaned against a tree,I was still crying. I couldn't think all I wanted was for the pain to go away. The only thing I could think of was to turn my humanity off. So I said goodbye to my humanity and turned it off, the pain went away. I was free.
