Me and Rock have been doing well. He actually has his own tattoo shop now and it's near my shop. I also had him and the girls move in with me because I feel safer with Rock around. They were basically my new family. Women can support their men too
Rock also got full custody of the girls but allows their mother to see them on the weekends. I was at home doing the girls hair. I had an off day and they needed their hair done. We were watching Imagine That and I was doing Royalty's hair
"Rena?" Rein asked
"Yes Rein?"
"When is daddy coming home?" She asked
It was about 10:30 in the afternoon. Rock didn't get off till 6:30
"6:30 stink. He'll be home soon"
"What am I getting done to my hair?" She asked
"Box braids just like your sister"
She nodded and started paying attention to the tv again. Rein was more of the talkative one. Royalty was very different. She was shy and quiet. She kinda reminded me of myself when I was younger.
I was almost finished with her hair since I was a fast braider. It actually looked good for my first time doing them on a kid head. My phone started ringing and it was Rock (Rock will be talking in bold italics)
"Hey pooh"
"Hey mama. What you doing?"
"Finishing up Royalty's hair. Imma do Rein's next, you on your lunch break?"
"No. I'm actually on my way home"
"Oh. Well can you go to the store and get some more caprisun's for the kids and then get me some orange juice. I need it for my event next week"
"Yea. Is that all you need?
"Yea"
"Lemme talk to the girls"
I handed Rein the phone and she started talking to Rock. I finished the last braid and grabbed my lighter. I started to burn the ends. I didn't want the hot water to burn them cause they move to much. I did her edges, put foam on her braids, greased her scalp, and and helped her wrap her hair up
"Thank you Rena!" Royalty said then gave me a kiss on the cheek
"Your welcome stink," I said smiling
She sat down on the couch and started watching the tv. Rein handed my phone to Rock and then Royalty sat down in between my legs. I started to part her hair and do the rubber band method
Royalty handed my the phone and Rock had already hung up. I started to focus back on Rein's hair
