Sherlock one shots

Its been a long time.

So let's start this from the beginning shall we.

Sherlock and Y/N, have grown up together and have always been friends, and they defend each other in every situation.

But maybe they both want something more than friendship.

"Y/N!!" Sherlock shouted from one side of the class room, even if you where in the middle of a lesson.

Maybe you chucked something in his direction and couldn't stop laughing.

"Sherlock Holmes, will you not interrupt my lesson!" Your teacher shouted.

You see you where in history and this is a lesson you and Sherlock have always found boring.

" Miss I honestly don't care for this lesson it is all useless information that I don't care about and I'll delete it all from my memory anyway" Sherlock replied and this made you laugh even harder and louder.

Sherlock smirked in your direction.

" Mr Holmes if you aren't interested then just leave, also Miss Y/N if you don't stop laughing you can join him" the teacher stated.

Sherlock got up straight away grabbing his stuff, "Gladly Miss, Y/N come on let's get out of here, thank god this is the last lesson of the day" Sherlock announced, you just grabbed your stuff and followed him.

Once you had reached the outside of the classroom you both started laughing until Sherlock went quiet and got a bit nervous which isn't normal for him.

" Y/N I have something to tell you" he said shyly.

You smiled at him already guessing what he might say, you wanted to say the same thing you have since you where 12 you are now 15.

" what is it Sherlock" you played dumb.

" well it's just...., I know we've been friends since early childhood and I'm worried this could possibly make things strange between us but I can't keep it in anymore."

You just gave him a fake confused look.

"Y/N I really like you, I have done for ages and I was just wondering if you'd like to go out with me sometime?" He asked.

Finally

" As in a date" you asked

"Y.y.y yes" he stuttered

You gave him the biggest smile

" Sherlock I've been waiting for you to ask me out for the longest time of course I will" you answered

" you have" he sounded surprised

" yes you Idiot I'm surprised you didn't notice" you giggled

" brilliant, maybe we can go to the fair tomorrow, I know you like those things" he said with a smile

" that sounds like the best date" you smiled at him

You went on many dates after that and have never broken up but that now brings us to this point in your lives

You see you went to different Universities, he went to study Chemistry and you went into medical, you wanted to become a doctor

It was fine the first two years you still spoke regularly and sore each other on the holidays but one day that all stopped and you lost contact

Until today, you found Johns blog and found out what Sherlock was getting up to, you had finished university two years ago, and was a well known doctor and you had never been in another relationship since Sherlock and neither had he.

Today was the day you were going to surprise him and Baker Street, you had found Mycroft and had come up with a plan together

You and Mycroft had always gotten on well so he decided to help reunite you with his younger brother who you have been separated from for the past 5 years

The plan was for you and Mycroft to go to his brothers flat whilst he was out, and wait for him there once you hear him arrive you are to wait in the kitchen until Mycroft gives you the signal

So currently you and the older Holmes brother are waiting in 221B when you hear the door downstairs slam, you run into the kitchen

That's when you hear the flat door open and a groan

"What are you doing here Mycroft?" The younger Holmes asked

" Can I not come visit my younger brother" Mycroft replied

" you normally want something from me" Sherlock replied, you heard him sit down

" well not today little brother, I actually have a surprise for you" that's the signal

Before Sherlock could reply you walked out of the kitchen, god he hasn't changed a bit

" hey Sherlock" you said shyly

He said nothing, he just sat and stared

Suddenly before you know it he was in front of you giving you the biggest hug he ever had

" god Y/N I've missed you" he whispered

" I've missed you too" at this point you had tears in your eyes

Sherlock grabbed your face and kissed your forehead

" never leave me again" he mumbled

" I promise never to leave your side" you answered.
