" James! Sirius! Remus! " Peter panted, as he ran into the boys' dormitory. Remus looked up from his book, and Sirius and James sat up.
" What's up, Wormtail? " James asked. Peter slowed his breath down from quick shallow breaths to normal breaths.
" I was spying in the Slytherin Common Room, " Peter began. Remus facepalmed and shook his head. James and Sirius smirked.
" You're learning so fast, " Sirius wiped a fake tear from his cheek.
" No! Snape and M-Malfoy...! " Peter cried. James and Sirius stopped smiling. Remus looked over his book and raised an eyebrow.
" You're telling us that Lucius Malfoy took a liking in Snape? Like, THE Lucius Malfoy? " Remus questioned, skeptical. Peter nodded extremely fast.
" Impossible! Someone like Snivellus could never be liked by that Malfoy boy! " Sirius growled.
" What's so special about Malfoy? " Lily walked in from the door Peter left open.
" Lily! How are you feeling? " James asked, smiling.
" Better, but answer me, please, " Lily said, adjusting her robe. Remus put his book down.
" The Malfoys are an infamous, extremely rich Pure Blood family. A lot of people suspect them to be followers of....You-know-who, " Remus explained to Lily.
" Wait, what?! " Lily turned to Peter, quickly. " Are you sure that's who he was talking to? "
" Positive, " Peter mumbled. Lily shook her head, in disbelief and shock.
" Severus wouldn't.. Would he..? " Lily muttered. " I'll have to see it to believe it. "
" Stick with us tomorrow and we'll see, okay? Sirius, see if you can talk to your brother. He normally has gossip on the Slytherins, " James said.
" You got it, lemme go see if I can catch him now, he'll probably be at the library, " Sirius got up from his bed quickly, grabbed his jacket and left to find Regulus.
Lily looked at James in concern, and asked quietly, " Do you think Severus has joined Malfoy's gang? D-Do you think we're the reason he did? "
" Lily, I'm sure that Sniv-Snape wouldn't join Malfoy because of us. Malfoy is a whole nother level of mean, " James tried to reassure her, though he wasn't entirely sure either. Perhaps Snape had taken a turn for the worst.
It had been a few days, and that was the ONLY thing the school was talking about. Snape this, Malfoy that. Regulus refused to spill any tea-I mean secrets. But he did say one thing.
" All Regulus told him was, ' You'll find out at the dance, I'm sure the truth will come out then, ' with a smirk too! I can't believe him, we've never even done anything to him! " James paced in the boys' dormitory. Remus kept his eyes on his Transfiguration book, brushing aside what James was saying.
" So, just wait till the dance, it's only a month away and you still need to ask Lily out, " Remus remarked, irritated. James stopped pacing and gasped slightly.
" Jesus Christ! I still need to ask Lily out. You're brilliant, Moony! " James cried (out), dashing out of the dormitory. Sirius walked in as James left and smirked.
" What's up with him? Forgot he needed to ask Lily to the dance? " Sirius snickered.
" Yep, that's the third time he's done that, " Remus set his book down, and looked up at Sirius," What do you need? "
" I thought this would be the perfect time. Remus, will you go to the dance with me? " Sirius asked. Remus looked at him, speechless. With a smile, Remus replied, " No!"
Technical Difficulties!
With a smile, Remus replied, " Of course! " almost instantly. He sprang up from his bed and wrapped his arms around Sirius' shoulders. Sirius stood there for a moment, unsure what to do, until he finally decided to hug back.
((That's what Remus did in the technical difficulties))
