I used to hate you like I hated the liars,
Everyone hated us being friends, being together.
They've been hoping you would burn in hell fire,
But being with you is something I don't mind to venture.
You told me that you'd miss me,
You'd be by my side, and together we would be.
And I thought you were the key,
The key that would set me free.
I know there are limits,
I had gone overboard.
If you could give me a few minutes,
There's so much more that I could afford.
Maybe the reason we divide,
Was because I was a parasite.
Oh, you know I had been confined,
Even when I said that it's all alright.
There's still a black hole inside my heart,
A space which you had filled and opened again.
Well, this friendship has fallen apart.
I swear, this was never what I had in plan.
I used to backbite you with all my friend,
Then stamp a smile whenever I'm with you.
This relationship needed to amend,
It would be better if we could undo.
It would be better if I was not a parasite,
Coz when we meet, we are dynamite.
It's like the world has found an unstable meteorite,
I need us to reunite, not fight.
I limn this to be the end,
We were all playing pretend.
Not my girlfriend, not my boyfriend,
You're just a friend.
Maybe we were just not meant to be,
It's because I was the parasite.
What is love in your dictionary?
Probably different on my side.
You were close to me that time,
It did not last for a lifetime.
Everyday and every time,
I'd just say that I'm doin' fine.
Have I lost my sanity?
I'm holding you back like gravity,
I'd be texting you so randomly.
Without you, I wonder what life would be!
I know you know this won't work out,
But we were running around a roundabout.
It was ending, I had no doubt,
Said I miss you but you didn't hear me out.
When everyone left you,
Was I not there for you?
Whenever you needed somebody,
You can run around and go find me.
You're a bird out of the bars,
But feel like the moon, stuck with the stars.
Are you free when you get insane?
Or was it your mind that was held back by chains.
Was it you?
Was it true?
Well damn, 'thank you'!
