This isn't even just for fanfics, this is for any story in general. But I love it when there's a huge secret, normally something that the audience knows, and then there's a huge big reveal of the secret. I am a sLUT for those stories, it's my favorite thing ever
In the Extrodanaries, the scene where everyone revealed that they were superheroes, which wasn't really a huge spoiler if you really know anything about tropes you would know that from page one, made me sO giddy it was amazing.
