TEWKSBURY and I walked through the darks street while he whistled 'I do like to be beside the seaside'

After he finished singing it for the 4th time as stopped him from starting again "We're not even by the seaside you do know" He shrugged

"Yes but you're being rather quiet compared to your usual self so I'm filling the silence" I sighed and gently rested my head on his shoulder "I just need to crawl up under some soft covers and rest" I sighed heavily

"Oh my god." I stopped walking and he quickly looked down to me "What is it?"

"We don't have anywhere to sleep" I ran my hands through my hair

Tewksbury chuckled, he had the audacity to chuckle when we have no where to sleep?

"What is funny about this?" He straightened up "I have a place" I furrowed my eyes brows but didn't question him and we carried on walking

Soon we were outside the Ritz hotel and he suddenly turned towards it walking up the red carpet "what are you doing?" I asked him. He stepped inside and walked up us to reception "Hi, I'd like to sign in for a room booked for rent" I looked up to him with wide eyes

"And what name is this under?" The man smiled "Barkley" He slid an envelope which I'm guessing was full of money

The man looked back down to him computer and typed it in "first name?" He asked politely "Jonathan"

"Andd.. word?" The man looked up him again. Viscount pulled out a piece of paper from an inside pocket of his blazer and slid it across the desk and cautiously looked around

The man gave him the paper back, picked up a few brochures turned to the wall of keys pulling off 2 out of 3 keys from the '43' hook "Here are your keys, here we have the map of the building, a map of London town and food and drink place recommendations"

"Thankyou" Tewksbury picked up the leaflets "oh and your room is 3rd floor, turn down the right hand side and it should be 4th on that left" He smiled and walked away to serve another customer

I quietly cursed him till we got to the elevator with the worker standing by. As soon as we stood in I didn't care there was another person listening "Really?!" I nearly shouted

"shhhh." He quieted me down and put a finger on my lips "look, I booked it from home and didn't tell you when you got here because I knew you'd make me spend the money on food or something less important so I took matter into my own hands"

He took his finger off cautiously in case I shouted again "You're right about the making you spend it bit" I huffed "but, we're already here." I grumbled" Why waste it?"

He grinned "ah this is us" He turned to the elevator man. The man nodded and opened the doors for us

"He said the right.." I turned towards it "and 3rd dior on the left!" I pointed out door and walked towards it "key?" I put my hand out and he fiddle about with the papers to get it out of the pile

I slid it into the door and gently twisted it and then the handle

I stepped through and the room was medium size like a smaller flat with a grey sofa and window view of the quiet street below and a separate room for the bathroom the was next to the door but had sliding doors on the side of the bath to the bedroom with was decorated with baby blue and grey

"did you bring any night clothes? or just other clothes?" I shouted through to him. He opened the bathroom door "um" He pierced his lips

I sighed and rolled my eyes "tomorrow we will buy pyjamas or atleast something to cover up. But for now we're stuck with dressing gowns and flip flops" I picked the dressing gowns up off the bed and threw one to him

I walk through the door "don't come out" I say before shutting the door. I get changed into my underwear and quickly wrap the dressing gown fully around my tiny body and I sat on the couch

The door opens and Tewksbury is stood in his dressing gown too but he quickly looked away from me and I did the same. I awkwardly stood and walked to the doorway still looking at my feet

He stepped back letting my in so I could finally look up. I took a blanket and one of the two pillows from the bed and began to lay out the blanket on the floor "what are you doing?" He chuckled

"Well theres only one bed" I continued to try and find places on the blanket to fluffed up more so I wouldn't be uncomfortable "Stop, stop stop." He put his big hands on top of mine to stop me

"I'll take the floor. You need to sleep" I exhaled "b- but if my master finds out-" "You already told me you quit" I shut my eyes rehearsing my words

"fine. We can share the bed just pretend there's a line down the middle" I stood up. He curled his lips up to say 'sure' and stood up too

I picked up the pillow and light grey blanket and placed the pillow on the bed where I
Tewksbury walked round to the other side of the bed while I climbed in. I turned off the lamp at my side and he copied my actions

I laid my head on the pillow with one arm resting underneath it folded and tucking the blanket up to my neck. I let out a shiver and felt movement "Are you cold?"

I bit my lip and nodded quite big so he could see the back of my head moving. He shuffled again and suddenly I felt a weight on me

I realised he'd put another blanket on me help keep me warmer and he then tucked it in slightly "thank you" I whispered and he rubbed my arm

He got back under the covers and I slowly began to get tireder but I was still too cold to sleep and by Tewksbury's constant flipping over and slowly moving closer I could tell he was too

"Alicia?" He whispered. I hummed "Do you mind if I hug you?" I smiled "Please" I replied in a whisper

He moved up closer to me and wrapped an arm around my waist, his hands and feet were cold but the rest of him was warm and I was the opposite but I didn't mind

My eyes fully shut by themselves to the point where they didn't want to open and my breathing was steady. I was slowly getting warmer and I could hear Tewksbury's heartbeat which relaxed me even more, and before I knew it..

I was fast asleep

SOMEONE TEACH ME TO SHIFT

I've literally been trying for nearly a month now and it just DOESN'T WORK

I've tried the:

Raven method which didn't really do anything for me
No sleep method which got me closest but still I didn't manage
The piano method gave me sleep insomnia so I had to get sleeping tablets

and I'm gonna try the Estelle method tonight and then the heartbeat and train method but does anyone have any recommendations? I know everyone is different but I'm really just trying
