Ch. 6 "The lab"

                                                           Lilly POV

"DR. Banner is only here to track the cube I was hoping you might join him," Nick said walking in, 

"Let's start with that stick of his, it may be magical but it works an awful lot like a HYDRA weapon," Steve said 

"Not to mention it's noisy," I mumbled 

Everyone looked confused,

"Lilly can you hear it?" Natasha asked confused 

I nodded, 

"What does it sound like?" Thor asked 

"Like nails on a chalk board," I mumbled 

I buried my head into daddy's leg, 

"Interesting, I don't know about HYDRA but it is powered by the cube and I'd like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys," Nick said 

"Monkeys? I do not understand," Thor said 

"I'm with you there big guy," I mumbled 

"I do! I understand that reference," Steve said excited 

Tony rolls his eyes, 

"Shall we play doctor?" Tony said 

"Let's play some," Daddy said 

He took my hand and Me Daddy and Tony walked out 

I was sitting on the couch behind daddy, trying to tune out the noise of that stick thing, 

Daddy was at a screen so was Tony, 

"The gamma readings are definitely consistent with Selvig's reports on the Tesseract, but it's gonna take weeks to process," Daddy said 

"If we bypass their mainframe and direct a reroute to the homer cluster, we can clock this around six hundred teraflops," Tony said 

"All I packed was a tooth brush," Daddy said 

He looked back at me making sure I was alright, I smiled at him he returned it, 

"You know you should come by STARK TOWERS sometime top ten floors all R&D you'd love it, it's like candy land," Tony said 

"Thanks but the last time I was in New York I kind of broke... Harlem," Daddy said 

"Well I promise a stress free environment No tension, No surprises," Tony said 

Tony suddenly pokes Daddy with a miniature electrical prod I stood up, 

Steve stormed in seeing what Tony did

"Ow!" Daddy said 

Tony looks at Daddy closely 

"Hey!" Steve said 

"Nothing?" Tony said 

"Are you nuts?" Steve asked 

"You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? what's your secret? Mellow jazz? Bongo drums? huge bag of weed?" Tony asked 

Daddy looked back at me, 

"It's alright Lilly I'm okay," He said smiling 

I nodded slowly climbing back on the couch, 

"Is everything a joke to you?" Steve asked 

as Steve and Tony were arguing I started smelling the air, 

Daddy noticed this, 

"Lilly what is it?" Daddy asked  kneeling in front of me, 

"I smell something that wasn't on this place before," I said 

Daddy looked back at Steve and Tony, 

"Wait hold on you can smell people from far away?" Steve asked 

I nodded 

"For miles actually," Daddy said 

Tony's eyes nearly popped out of his head, 

"I'm sure it's nothing sweetheart," Daddy said 

"Come on lets see if Nat can find you something to eat," Daddy said taking my hand 

With that we walked out
