Before You Saved Me

Chapter 1 : September

*Wonder's POV*

Here I was, I had just woken up on the sofa. I was watching movies with Christina(12) my neighbour Dylan's little sister. She was watching that stupid Coco movie again when I woke up. Okay, okay it isn't stupid alright I just don't like it anymore because Dylan likes the Remember Me song. Stupid Boy Out of the blue Mighael starts singing the song to Coco... man how long was I out? .

"Christina why are you watching Coco again!?" I asked staring at her. "I saw you sleeping so I thought that it would not be a problem.. I'm really sorry though" she said before giving me puppy eyes.

Chris and I get along very well unlike me and her brother but she also comes over to my house whenever she needs help with her homework. Yeah, she's like 5 years younger than me but she is like my little sister and I won't punish her for her brother's deeds. 'What'd her brother do? Well that's a story for another day.' We've been getting along for as long as I remember.

I felt weird carrying on listening to Mighael singing until Chris said she was leaving and I was finally able to stop the movie and took out my cellphone.

A few hours later my brother came downstairs to make a snack for himself. He was looking at me weirdly until I asked, "What?"

"What is it with you and that kid, are you like best friends now? I mean isn't she too young to be hanging out with you!?"

What the hell is wrong with him? He doesn't talk to me for days and when he finally opens his mouth he asks me stupid questions.
"And what's that got to do with you?" I asked him arms crossed.

He just smirked and said, "Was just asking."

"Well then she comes over so I can help her with her homework and stuff, other than that it is none of your business!"

And he said, "Whoa, okay chill out. No need for you to bite my head off."

September my older brother thinks it's really weird that Christina likes coming over to check up on me. But I on the other hand think it's sweet coz I always wished I had a little sister but I don't think that will ever happen. It seems my parents have made up their mind because of what happened-. Wonder please don't go there.

Anyway September is like that other person now you know, I mean we don't talk much. I heard he doesn't want people calling him September anymore, he goes by the name Bright now (his second name). He and I don't talk muck. Most of the time when we're in the same room we end up arguing, but then he's my brother right! And I love him whichever way he is. But sometimes I also wonder if he feels the same way about me. If I be in trouble he always came to the rescue but two years back things changed, we just grew apart and things were never the same again. I really miss him, The cool September Bright Carter.
