"Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where it's people come from and where they're going."
Rita Mae Brown.

Languages are a vital part of human life. They allow us to share our ideas, thoughts and feelings. It has the power to build societies but also hold the power to tear them down.

Over the years, languages have changed and evolved drastically. The words sound different, their meanings and sounds change, words get replaced and sometimes are also borrowed from other languages.

The first few languages originated around 150,000 years ago and naturally some have gone extinct and other few are on the verge of it. Some of them include-Asur, Badaga, Bagati and Hebrew.

Welcome to Bhasha-e-Hind, an initiative by Indian Legion to bring out and convey the stories of the languages of India.
