What the HELL do I do now!?

I started moving in a fast pace through the forest. Where the fuck were the others!? Are they even searching for me at the moment?? I don't even know. Maybe they didn't even realize I was missing.. wonderful...

I must find them. Though, ironically enough, I actually, don't even know if I want to find them. If you look at it logically, to me, they are complete strangers. Though Alby wasn't that bad..

Suddenly, I heard something behind me, snapping me out of my trance of thoughts. I don't know how it happened, but the next thing I remember, was me being  pushed forcefully to the ground with someone above me. It started screaming something but I couldn't make out what. It was about to stab me with something when someone from behind him grabbed him from his hair and pushed him aside where two other guys caught him.

"Get up you Greenie" He said and looked down at me. ...Newt? What the hell was he doing here? Did he perhaps follow me? He did just save me though..

"U-um, thanks.." I mumbled lowly, still kinda puzzled
........did I seriously have to say 'um'??
Jesus, I sound kinda gay. Wait what was I? I mean, what was my sexuality in my 'beforecominghere'-life..?

I looked up at Newt and he just rolled his eyes, nodded slightly and walked away. Maybe he doesn't hate me all that much after all..? What kind of conclusion is that, Thomas? All he did was nod his head. That doesn't mean he actually likes you. Besides, he also rolled his-
Wait. What? Did I just refer my self to as Thomas?!

"Thomas!" I yelled without thinking. The tall boy in front of me stopped walking for a second-without turning around- and then, started walking again

I looked where the other two were and saw that one of them was gone along with the crazy dude who attacked me.

"Hey..." I said to him awkwardly. I didn't know what to do

"Are you gonna start a stupid conversation or just get your lazy ass off the ground and head back to the Glade?! Dinner is in half an hour"

"Wait. Dinner? What time it is? And who are you?"

"Ugh. I should have listened to Newt when he said that all you do is ask questions" He said and started walking towards were I assumed was the glade. Me, running behind him (I do that a lot lately...)

"Before you ask me AGAIN, M'name is Mihno. And as for the hour... I guess it's ten p.m or something" I nodded

After I god back to the Glade, I learnt from Minho that the guy who attacked me was named Ben and was 'stung' or  something.

I was sitting in front of a fire. Eating something really good.
Well.. this could have actually been fun... if I knew where the fuck I was, that is.

I looked around and saw that a little kid was sitting on it's own by a tree. I didn't know that there were also kids in there... I actually felt a little bad for the kid and went to sit with him

"Hey there" I said to him with a smile. He looked up at me, his face lighting up with genuine happiness

"Hi! You are the new greenie! right?" He said and smiled back

"Yeah. It's Thomas actually. Kind of learnt that a few minutes ago myself" I said with a chuckle and he laughed as well

"Well, nice to meet you Thomas! I'm Chuck"

"Nice to meet you too, Chuck"

A few minutes passed by, with us eating our food in silence while hearing some other Gladers talking, chatting etc.

I looked around the place for any familiar faces. I saw Alby talking to someone. Oh! There was Minho with some other guys who were wearing the same uniform (or whatever it was) and... Where's Newt? It wasn't like I cared, but I thought that Minho told me that all the gladers had to attend dinner.

"Hey, chuck?" I asked and he hummed questioning while eating what was left on his plate "Do you know where Newt is?"  It took a minute for him to answer and, call it curiosity, but I really wanted to know where he was

"I dunno. Sometimes he's just...not here. And when someone asks him where he is, he simply says 'It's none of your business' " He said and continued eating. I nodded

"Well, I better go to sleep now. see you Thomas!" He waved at me and left. Soon enough I went to my bed as well (Alby had shown me where it was) and drifted off to sleep
