The Hunt (ON HOLD)

Chapter 1: Bella's P.O.V.

Every day for the past year I was hoping to hear my phone to ring and it would be my brothers calling me. Well let me start at the beginning. My name is Isabella Mary Winchester and I am 17 years old. My life had a major change about 6 months ago. From the time my mother died my father raised my brothers and me to be hunters. Well about 6 months ago I moved to Forks, Washington and the first day I was there I was attacked by a vampire. I was attacked by a different type of vampire than the ones that I hunt. I was turned into a vampire. I knew there had to be another way to survive rather than killing humans. I try to survive on animal blood and it has worked. I have not killed a single human. The only problem is that when Sam and Dean, my brothers, find out that they may try to kill me but only be unsuccessful. They have been on the search for our father. Our father was on the search for the demon that had killed our mother and Sam’s girlfriend. Today was my first day of high school. I am a junior in high school. I am not really looking forward to going to school tomorrow. I have never really been a social person but I deal. I had a few hours before I had to leave for school. I looked through my closet for something to wear. I finally found an outfit to wear (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_78/set?id=42363194). I could not believe that I will be wearing all white. I went to take a shower. The hot water had warmed up my cold skin. I have never felt more human than when I take a shower. I got out and I had an hour to do my hair and makeup. I put on my makeup. I looked at my clock and I saw that it was time to go. I grabbed my key to my 67 Chevy Impala (http://spe.fotolog.com.br/photo/62/7/3/freakmorticia/1257728623840_f.jpg) and left. My brother Dean had given it to me and he had gotten it from our dad. I have taken better care of the car then Dean had. I got to the school in a matter of minutes. I parked next to a silver Volvo and a jeep. I found the office and went in. “Hello may I help you?” The lady at the front desk asked. “Hi, yes you can. I am new here and I am here to pick up my schedule.” “Oh okay. Your name is?” “I am Isabella Mary Winchester.” “Okay.” She looked through some papers until she found the ones that she was looking for. “Okay here you go. This is you class schedule and this is a map of the school. You will need to get a signature from all your teachers and then bring this paper back at the end of the day.” “Okay thank you.” I left the office and went to my first class, biology. I arrived in the class and went to the teacher. She signed the paper gave it back and also gave me my text book. “Bella your sit is next to Alice Cullen. Alice will you raise your hand?” I looked over to the girl, Alice, who raised her hand. I noticed that we had the same color eyes. Instantly I knew she was a vampire like me. I went over to sit next to her. “Hi I am Alice Cullen.” “Hi I am Isabella Winchester but I go by Bella.” “Your outfit is really cute!” “Thanks Alice.” I heard the phone in the classroom ring. The teacher answered it. “Bella? They want you in the office.” I looked up really surprised. “Oh okay.” I grabbed my stuff and went down to the office. Before I got there I could hear that Sam was in the office. I wondered where Dean was. I went in the door and Sam turned around. “Sam you’re here. Why are you here?” I was shocked. “Hello to you to little sister.” He said. “Where is Dean?” “Well that’s what we need to talk about.” “Okay well I need to talk to you too.” “I signed you out for an early dismissal.” “Thanks.” I went over to the lady at the front desk. “Hello. I was not able to get all the signatures. I was wondering if I could do that tomorrow.” “Yes dear you can” “Thank you. Good bye.” I left with Sam. We walked over to my Impala. “How did you get here Sam?” “I took a bus from California and then a cab.” “Why didn’t you call me? I would have driven down to California to get you.” “Sorry.” We got in and I drove to my house. “You have a house.” “Yes Sam I do. What did you want to talk about?” “Okay well Dean and I were working a case together and things went wrong and at some point we split-up. Now I can’t get a hold of him.” “Okay well I need to know more in order to help find him. In the mean time you can stay here. I can promise you this we will find him.” “Thanks Bella. I have a question since you have had the Impala have you changed the truck at all?” “No Sam I have not. It is still the way Dean had it.” “By the way Bella what was it you want to talk to me about?” “I don’t know if you have noticed but I can tell you that I am not the same Bella that had left a year ago. I can’t tell you what happened to me until I can figure out myself but I can tell you this. I don’t have a heart beat and that I am not the only one in Forks.” “What do you mean no heart beat?” I held my hand out for him to check for himself. “How did this happen?” “I was attacked by something when I first got here six months ago.” His jaw dropped. “Not to mention I haven’t had to sleep for six months. It helps a lot on the hunt.” I giggled when I told him that. The thing I didn’t tell him is that I know exactly what I am. I don’t know what to do. Sam and I spent to the rest of the day talking about the different jobs we did over the past year. “It getting late I should try to get some sleep.” ‘’ “Well Sam you can sleep in the guest bedroom or on the couch.” “I will take the guest bedroom. Bella what time do you leave for school?”  “I have to leave at 7 why?” “No reason. I didn’t know that’s all.” He went to the guest bedroom. “You don’t have anything to sleep in do you?” “No everything is in the motel in California.” “Okay well I had bought a set of pajamas for you over a year ago and I will get them for you. I will set them right outside the door.” I went to my room and got the pajamas for Sam. “Why did you buy them in the first place Bella?” “Well I knew that something like this was going to happen.” I took the pajamas to the door and placed them on the floor. I knocked on the door to let him know that they are there. “I will see you in the morning Sam.” “Good night Bella.” Now what I am I going to do tonight? I spent most of my night in the guest bedroom watching Sam sleep. He tends to have nightmares. I looked at the clock and it was 5:30 in the morning. After I got out I got dressed and went to my room. After I was ready I heard Sam getting up. I went down to the kitchen and started some coffee for him. “Hey Sam. Did I wake you?” “Hey Bella. No you didn’t wake me. I had a nightmare that woke me up.” I nodded my head. “I made some coffee for you.” He went over to the coffee maker and got a cup of coffee. I heard my clock chime and I looked up at it and it read 7 am. I need to be going. “I need to be going. If you need anything at all just call me. I will try to get here at lunch. I will see you later Sam.”   I got in my car and went to school. When I got to school I parked in the same place that I parked in yesterday. I got out and went into the office. I was greeted right away by the lady at the front desk. She knew right away that I was there to pick up my paper from yesterday so I could get the rest of the signatures. She handed me the paper and I left to go to my first period class. I got there before most of the class. I saw that Alice was sitting there with a huge smile across her face. I wonder what is up with her.
