"princess!" inho yelled, waving his hand at her. she nodded in return, forcing a smile. she could've just ignored him, but judging by the fact that inho basically saved her when she was stuck in that water tank, she had to repay him somehow.

inho jogged over, smiling brightly to her as he took the camera into his own hands, fiddling with the setting. for a brief second, it flashed the screen where it showed all the photos stored on the camera. they were all of her, whether it be her in her room or her at the race course, she was in every photo. though it was so brief no one could've caught on

"here" inho handed the camera to hansol as it was placed back on the stand. aeri knew inho was a stalker, but she didn't know he was that serious about it.

"what are you even doing" aeri asked with a cold tone in her voice

"taking a picture of starship" hansol replied, basically stating the obvious

"why" she deadpanned

"mother asked for it"

she paused for a second "what?"

"she has her own reasons"

there was silence for a few seconds

"i came here to give father this" she slipped an envelope to hansol "give this to him for me". she didn't wait for a reply and left emotionlessly.

arriving at the place she was meant to meet up with jisung, she entered the car park looking building, locating jisung's torn face across the open room. he noticed her, and there was moments of relief on his face when she arrived.

"where have you been" she went straight to the point

"i'm tired" he completely dismissed his question, and let out a frustrated sigh. she kept quiet, and continued to let him talk

he looked up at her "i want revenge so bad even though i know it's not right. my life goal is so close to being achieved but no matter how hard i try to find the person, and a his name and his background, i just cant. i only know his stupid stupid corporation that gives no details to his whereabouts. i want to do the same thing he did to my father aeri, i want him dead"

"nothings working out" he sighed, leaning against the rails.

she remained silent, moving to lean beside him. she was already quite suspicious as to why he was in a car park in the first place but those questions can be saved for later.

"like i know it's the past and i should let it go but murder isn't something that you're just going to forget. my dad died because of a mistake without any type of redemption, you know how bad that makes me feel?" he vented, and vented and vented, words spilling out of his mouth "i'm sorry i disappeared for three days but in those three days i've just been endlessly searching and searching to at least find the identity of the man who killed my dad. everything's just futile as if the news never reported a dead man"

"who helped you?" she asked, lightly

"my...friends" saying mafia gang out loud sounded a little aggressive.

"sometimes revenge is the thing that soothes that pit in your stomach" to optimists, that statement would come off as insensitive, but revenge is something that's engraved into peoples minds no matter how much you want to get rid of it. it's not good, no, but to selective people, it's a stress reliever

"you're stronger than you think jisung, but murder isn't something you can just commit without thinking about it twice. a loss of a life isn't something you can play around with" she sighed, breaking from her usual persona

"and that's why i want revenge so much. because whoever killed my dad, played with a precious life." his voice shook, memories flashing before his eyes as if all his past emotions had been brewed together to make this overwhelming rush of loneliness and helplessness

she looked down at the necklace, brushing her fingers along it "you've done well". as soon as those words left her mouth, a pair of arms enclosed her in a hug, his head dug deep into her neck as beads of tears slid down his cheek and splashed crystals onto his eyelashes. she was shocked, but not rejecting

"it's ok" she combed her finger through his hair "we've all been brave"

the tears were like little crystals falling from his eyes. they were gems, and made to be treasured.

tears are simply the raindrops from the storms inside us

"i'm just so tired"

she didn't say a word, and continued to stroke his trembling body.

it continued like that for a bit, and jisung soon began to fall into a calmer state. they never left the embrace, and just swayed in position for the remainder of the sorrowful night.

"aeri" jisung spoke, lifting his head to look at her "be my girlfriend"
