Ch. 2: Normal

Hoseok's POV
It was just a normal day. I woke up got ready then headed to my workplace. I work at a pet shop. I love the dogs especially. I hate the snakeu. Whenever we feed the animals I have to have someone else feed those things and the spiders.
"Hoseok"
"Hm what? Sorry" I say snapping back to reality.
"You have to go feed the animals, it's your turn" my coworker Jimin tells me.
"Oh right I'll go do that now, but I'm not feeding the snakeu or the spiders" i reply. He laughs.
"Aright then I'll go feed them" he says and we walk to the back to get the food for the animals.
"Hey you wanna hangout after this?" I ask him.
"Sorry I can't I'm taking my girlfriend out for a date tonight" he says.
"Oh ok"
"You should really get a girlfriend yourself so you won't have to spend nights alone anymore" he chuckles.
"Haha really funny but I don't want a girlfriend right now" I chuckle.
"Why not?" He asks.
"Because I'm busy, with working here and at the coffee shop I just don't have time for a girlfriend"
"You make all the excuses you want but you'll still need a girlfriend or you'll be lonely for the rest of your life" he laughs.
"Yah I will not" I say which makes him laugh harder.
"Ok whatever helps you sleep at night" he says walking towards the snake habitats to feed them. I go and feed the other animals.
"My life is great just the way it is, I don't need anything else, although it'd be nice to have something exciting to do" I tell myself. Soon I finish feeding the animals and cleaning up. Jimin and I grab our stuff and I lock up the shop for the day.
"Alright see ya tomorrow Hoseok" Jimin says walking to his car.
"See ya, have fun on your date" I say waving at him.
"Oh I will" he smirks and climbs into his car and drives off. I laugh and start walking to my house. I have a car too but I live very close to the shop so I choose to walk when the weather is nice. When I get home I check my phone for any messages. There was a few from my best friend Yoongi. He works at an office(or so he thought, he doesn't know Yoongi works for a mafia).
Yoongi:
"Hey dude how's the shop?"
Hoseok:
Which one?
Yoongi:
The one with the animals
Hoseok:
It's doing good it wasn't that busy today so that's not the greatest
Yoongi:
Oof that sucks, well I gotta go talk to you later
Hoseok:
Ok talk to you later

I put my phone in my pocket and walk to the kitchen cuz I'm hungry. I open the fridge to check if there's anything in there for me to eat.
"Nothing really? I don't wanna cook today, I guess I'll just have to go to the store to get something" I say closing the fridge. I grab my keys, wallet, phone and a thin jacket. I walk out and go to the store.
