J-" are you ready to go?" I asked Betty, she nodded getting up from her chair. I kissed her forehead and grabbed her hand. J-" great," we walked out of the huge building and into our car. J-" we're doing to pick up some things at the supermarket, is that okay?" I asked, holding her hand again. B-" it's fine jug, I can just stay in the car." She said, J-" okay, I promise I'll be quick. B-" juggie. It's okay" J-" yeah i know, I just know you had a rough night and you're tired." B-" you're too good for me," she smiled. B-" you just run in, but remember to buy chocolate." She said as we pulled up. B-" uh! And soda!" J-" yes my love, anything else?" I laughed. B-" no thanks," she giggled. J-"okay." I smiled, getting out of the car B-" I love you!" J-" I love you too," I said before closing the door.
J-"You know we only have a day left." I tried starting a conversation with Betty as she laid across my lap. J-" Baby..?" I looked down at her, and of course she was sound asleep. I chuckled to myself. I kissed her forehead and cheeks softly, B-" keep going," she mumbled as soon as I stopped. J-" you're easy to wake up," B-" mm-mh." She opened her eyes a little to look at me, I kissed her lips. J-" I was just telling you, that we only have a day left before vacation!" I smiled, B-" yeah, I can't wait." She sat up but still on my lap, facing me. B-" what should we do?" J-" whatever you're up for." I kissed her cheek. B-" should we like... Travel or just stay at home?" J-" up to you, I'm up for it all." She chuckled, B-" jug, you've gone totally soft!" She laughed, J-" I know baby, wait no, I mean no." I said in a deep voice. She threw her head back in laughter. I smiled as she claimed down and kissed my lips. B-" okay let's say so." J-" you're a dork." I kissed her quick on the lips, B-" you know what's weird.. Sometimes I think about what if we still hated each other, then we wouldn't be right here today. I on your lap, in our apartment." I signed, J-" yeah it's pretty crazy, asshole" B-" hey! We aren't calling each other that, remember? Idiot." I smiled wide at her and kissed her again, and again. B-" claim down love, I'm not going anywhere." She giggled, J-" promise?" B-" juggie, I'm right here, you can get rid of me. You won't lose me." She smiled worriedly. J-" I love you," B-" and I love you." I looked into her eyes. J-" you know what..." B-" what??" J-" let's get married, " I smirked, B-" what?!" J-" why not" B-" jug you can't just say that!" She laughed, panicking inside. J-" well... Betty, will you marry me?" She looked shocked. It was priceless. B-" I-... y-yes?" She questioned, J-" baby it's me there is asking the question." I laughed J-" and since you're on lap I can't get down on one knee, so.... Let's get married and have 100 kids." B-" I'm not pushing 100 kids out, so no to that, but yes, I'll marry you!" I smiled and kissed her, with so much passion I was about to pass out. I couldn't and wouldn't stop smiling. Marrying the person you hated the most and now the person I love with everything I have... How crazy is that.
