The Day turns around (Ch. 1)

Cyan's POV

I never really knew much about the world around me, why the earth stays on its axis. I don't even recognize the back of my hand much anymore, it's all foreign to me. As I woke up at the crack of dawn one morning I felt something inside me that changed. How aloof I acted towards the crewmates, life didn't really make sense to me. Suddenly Red patted me on the back softly, which awoke me from my daze. "What's wrong, bub?" I then began to blush and fidget with my legs. "Nothing." I say being embarrassed. He chuckled, "Well it's almost lunch time, you've been in a fog since this morning." I didn't respond.. "Sit with me, then we can talk." He then ran to the cafeteria, I watched.
After lunch Lime ran into the room where we discussed. Out of breath and wheezing heavily he cursed, "I came here as fast as I could!" He said between heavy breaths. Red chuckled. "You missed lunch, Lime." Lime then stood there, shaking almost. "A-again..?" I watched him get all anxious about not being filled with food in his stomach. I could see a tear run down his face. It made me feel bad, almost like I wanted to give him a big hug. He then sighed and sat down, next to me. I could feel the heat rising in my body. "Oh! Cyan, how're you doing?" He perked up and gave me a hug. It felt nice, his body was soft and warm. I didn't know how to describe this moment. I almost melted into his body. I could feel myself getting this soft squishy feeling inside of my heart. After he let go of me though, he could tell I was flustered and happy. He giggled lightly, "D'aw. You liked me hug?" I then stood there, my body getting all warm. I was basically the equivalent to a blanket. "Y-yeah." I said. I totally forgot the other crewmates were all looking at me in awe. I saw carrot scribbling on his paper, he always loved to doodle weird pictures of things from earth. I liked this moment. I felt peace for once. I had a little friend crush on Lime.
