Tris and Four confront Four's father in a virtual simulation. As the virtual Marcus is about to beat Four, Tris grabs the belt and hits Marcus with it. Tris snaps at her father after he questions her about her right to shoot another person. Tris threatens to kill the real Marcus if he comes near Four.
