Chapter One ~ The Day Which Became My Nightmare
{Samantha's POV}
*7 Years Ago*
"Mummy! Daddy! It's my birthday!" My 10 year-old self shouts, barging into my parents bedroom.
"Happy birthday, sweetpea!" My dad says, kissing my forehead.
"Happy birthday, hunny," My mum states, hugging me.
"Am I having a party?" I wonder.
My mother laughs, "Of course you are."
"Yay!" I cheer, jumping up and down.
"Okay, okay. Calm down sweetpea. How about you head on downstairs and go and find your friends, and then we'll tell you the plans for today. Hey?" My dad asks.
I nod my head quickly and bolt out of the room and down the stairs if the pack house. Today is my 10th birthday and I'm also going to shift! I'm really excited! Mummy and daddy said that I will be in a lot of pain when I'm shifting, but they said that I can handle it because I'm a grown girl!
I run into the kitchen and suddenly bump into someone. I look up and notice Kyle, my best friend.
"I found the birthday girl!" He shouts, picking me up and running into the living room. He throws me onto one of the leather sofas and sits down next to me.
