Chapter 1: Good-bye Carly

*~*_ Jennifer's P.O.V. _*~*

"Jen, hurry up!! I don't want to miss our flight!! Your brothers and sister are already in the car!!" My mom called me.

"Well you should go. I don't want you to miss your flight. I'm really going to miss you!! You BETTER call me when you get there. Bye." My best friend Carly Reese said breaking up our hug. "

I'm really going to miss you!! I mean what am I suppose to do? I don't know anyone there in California. I can't just replace our friendship and all the memos we shared!! I really want to stay here in Michigan!" I complained sighing.

You see my dad is one of the best doctors at a small hospital near my house and was offered to work at a much bigger hospital in California. Sure I wanted to go swim and tan at the beaches in California. Sure I wanted to shop at the most expensive stores in California. Sure I wanted to meet celebrities under their disguises in California. But I don't want to give up Michigan, I'm not ready to fly over 7 states to start over a new life. I like it here, No screw that I LOVE it here. I love my friends,my boyfriend-who I sadly had to dump due to the fact I was moving-, my life, my house, everything just the way it is-

"You can't, Jen, NOTHING can ruin our friendship. Not even the fact your moving. Promise you'll keep in-touch with me and will call me everyday?" Carly asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I swear. Cross my heart. Hope to die. Poke a needle through my eye." I responded smiling.

"Oh! That reminds me! I have something for you! Here! Open it in California." Carly told me handing me a wrapped box the size of a shoe box.

"Carly and Jen, hun, sorry to interrup but can you guys please hurry up a bit. I really dont want to pay extra if we miss our flight." My mom said completely ruining our special little bff moment.

"Way to ruin a moment mom" I muttered under my breath just loud enough for Carly to hear.

"Thank you Car-bear. You should of told me you were going to give me a present. Too bad." I said grinning widely. Car-bear was the nickname I had given her bak in middle school.

I gave her one last hug. "Good-bye Carly May Reese" "Good-bye Jennifer Amanda Woods"

We got off the car and walked into the airport. Crap I muttered to myself when i saw how

long the check-in line was. We waited for what seemed like hoourrs. OK i was exagerating a

bit... or a lot.

"STOP COMPLAINING, JEN!! You are like soo fu-" My younger -15- brother Daniel screamed

at me.

"WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE DANIEL JAKE WOODS!! And , Jen, just stop complaining." My yelled

sighing.

"Yeeeeesssss mooooomm" My brother and I said in unison as he glared at me through his

deep green forest eyes. No matter how much we get eachother into trouble I know he would always

love me. He IS my brother anyways...

Its about time, I muttered to myself once we were next in line. I lifted my luggage,

carrying it over to the scale-thingy. I helped my most favorite sister in the world, Alexa,

with her luggage. After everyone's luggage was checked in, we walked through those metal

detector-thingies.

My family and I walked to our terminal with Charlie's, my 7 year old brother, hand in

mine. I led Charlie to our Dad and excused myself to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the

mirror admiring my green eyes I inherited from my parents. I combed my light, wavy, brown hair

using my small manicured fingers. I fixed up my make-up a bit and walked back to the terminal.

After waiting for about 30 minutes, we started boarding the plane. I sat on the window

side and sat next to Alexa. I laid my head on the window as the plane started to take off.

Darkness started to take over me. Was I really this tired? I barely got any sleep last night

from all the yelling and packing. Soon enough, I was asleep.

Author's note okay I know that update completely SUCKED. It was pretty obvious I had a HARD

time writing that airport scene due to the fact it was short and sucked. Oh and honestly I

thought her "special bff moment" was really cheesy. What did you think? I promise the next

updates will be MUCH MUCH better. MMMKK... peace out!!
