The operation ended after eight hours. I felt sleepy but at the same time relief because the surgery was successful. Pagkalabas ko mula sa operating room ay sinalubong kaagad ako ni Briar. I can see her swollen eyes. She's probably crying and is worried about her son the whole time.

"How was it? " Her hopeful eyes are telling me that I did well.

"You don't have to worry anymore. It went well. He just needs to stay here for a while for observation purposes".

She gave a long sigh. I began to walk when she stopped me. "Chandria , Thank you so much "

"Not a problem" I smiled.

It's past nine in the evening.Hindi ko dala yung sasakyan ko dahil sinundo lang ako ni Storm papunta sa Staffe . Habang naghihintay ako kay Storm ay nag text ako kay mommy na pauwi na ako.

"Let's go?" Sabi ni Storm at nilabas ang susi ng kanyang sasakyan.

"Chandria!" Rinig namingmay tumatawag sa pangalan ko . Sabay kami ni Storm lumingon. It's Saviour and he's running towards our direction. Napahinto kami sa paglalakad.

"Can we talk?" He said.

"Hindi pwede pare" Sagot ni Storm sakanya. Nalipat ang tingin ni Saviour kay Storm.

"Hindi ikaw yung tinatanong ko " Pabalik naman niyang sagot. Sinubukan kong pigilan ang tawa ko habang nakatingin kay Storm.

"No need . your girlfriend will kill me" Nilapitan ko ito.

He looks at me with confusion on his eyes."Don't worry"

"So she's not the jealous type anymore huh" Maybe because she's confident that Saviour is hers.

He chuckled upon getting closer with me " I just don't have one "

" Your w-wife I mean " ang lapit naman kasi masyado kaya napaatras ako ng konti.

"I don't have one as well" Storm fake cough.

"It's okay Storm. Mauna ka na " Tinignan ko si Storm at tumango naman ito. "Mag-ingat ka. Wag masyadong papagabi" I chuckled cause he sounded more like my Daddy. "Yes po, dad" He just rolled his eyes at nagpatuloy ng maglakad patungo sa kanyang sasakyan.

"Saan tayo?" I asked him nung nasa kotse niya na kami.

His eyes are focus on the road " You'll see"

As usual, I didn't say a word. Nakatingin lang ako sa bintana ng kotse. Until he stops the car. I guess we already reach our destination.

My eyes started tearing up. remembering our precious memories in this place. This is the place where we used to spend our anniversaries. Special events. Our simple dates and this is the place where he gave me the promise ring and his promises. He even helped me study here when my exam is coming up.

"Help me study please," I said pouting while my hands intertwined.

"Sige na nga " sabi niya at humiga sa sahig.

Sa practical exam kasi namin ay kailangan ipakita namin ang proper way to do a CPR . Iba kasi pag sa libro mo lang nabasa at hindi talaga in real life ginagawa kaya heto ako ngayon . I tied my hair into a bun . On bended knees, I sat on the floor.

"First, to check if the person is breathing " Nilapit ko ang tenga sa kanyang bibig . I pretend that he's not breathing so I proceed on the next step.
