Today is the day of Liz's DBLC finals and of course as her best friend I must go and support her. Sav is also going .Well I told him na sa may Deluxery Street nalang kami magkikita since maraming tao ang pupunta and it might be hard na mag kotse Kasi malapit na din Ang fiesta . We were supposed to meet at 12 pero dahil sa sobrang traffic alas 2 na ako nakarating.

I stretched my back . Sakit ng pwet ko kakaupo sa sasakyan. I wonder if nandito na siya kaya I text him instead.

Stell: hoi tae , nasan kana?

Minutes later he replied.

Sav: I'm here at a cafe nearby , ikaw San ka? Pupuntahan Kita.

Stell: Oki nandito ako sa mga nagtitinda ng balloons.

I tried to find him until I saw a man wearing a white button down long sleeve with neatly ironed pants and a black boots. He's also wearing a bracelet? I suppose . He eyed me directly and went straight to my direction.

"Nasan sila Vyx? Sila Comet? Hindi ba sila pupunta?" Kasi last time na nagyayaan kami ay pumayag sila na sumama and mostly sa klasi namin or sa school rather pupunta to support the school may dagdag points din Kasi yon hahaha.

"Nauna na daw si Vyx at si Comet naman ngayon palang nagising. Hadley was with silver napauna na dahil saglit lang daw si silver " he folded his sleeves right up until it reach his elbows . Halatang naiinitan dahil pawis din ito. He took a handkerchief from his pocket and wipe his sweat off to his forehead.

"So sino nalang aantayin natin?" Sabi ko sakanya at kumuha ng tubig at inabot sakanya . Kanina paba siya dito? Kinuha naman Niya yon at ininom.

" Wala na , Ang iba nating kaklase ay nauna na "

"So let's go na . Mahaba pa lalakarin natin."

Tumingin siya roon Banda sa may nag pa parade at bumaling ulit sakin.

" We can't get through kailangan pa matapos yan"

To think about it tama nga baka ma pano pa kami at maraming tao pa naman Ang pupunta don. Nakita ko Ang church di kalayuan . I thought we should go there first? To pray man lang?

"Uhm... Can we g-go to the church? " Bakit ba ako nauutal?

"Bakit papakasalan mo na ako? Oi Bata pa ako!" He raised both his hands and formed it X sign of disapproval.

"May hangin ka talaga no? I just want to pray . Besides it's almost fiesta baka di an ako makapunta sa mismong fiesta." Nauna ng lumakad sakanya.

We went in and look for the entrance. May maririnig na kaming tunog kaya siguro nagsimula na. "Saviour!" May biglang dumating sa harap namin na isang babae. nakasuot siya ng red t-shirt that says Red Cross Youth. For sure she's a member. "Hi Sasha!" Tumingin ang babae samin . "It's been a long time since the last time saw each other !" She smiled delightly Kay Sav . Mukhang mahaba pa Ang chika nila kaya napauna nalang muna ako ng lakad . Lumapit ako sa isang matandang nagtitinda ng kandila upang magtanong. Mukhang nagsimula na ang misa. Ayoko kasi magsimba na Hindi nasisimulan kaya magtanong nalang ako kung kailan Ang susunod na misa.

"Mga alas 5 pa po ma'am " pero 5 din nagsimula ang ganap kay Liz tapos maglalakad lang kami patungo ron so matatagalan pa kami.

"We can just light candles instead " Sabi ni Sav sakin. Mukhang tapos na sila sa chika ng kausap niya .Tumango nalang ako at kinuha ni Sav ang pitaka Niya upang kumuha ng pambayad ng kandila. At nagsimula na kaming pumila patungo sa paglalagyan ng kandila. Umakyat kami sa hagdanan at lumapit kami sa may apoy at nilagay ang kandilang binili. Tapos bumaba kami para mag dasal.

I close my eyes and I started to pray silently. I let out my wishes. My apologies.My pains. My greetings . My thanks.

When I open my eyes I saw Sav beside me looking darkly but patiently waiting for me to finish my prayer.

I then have him a nod and we went out to the church to start walking . Like I said malapit na Ang fiesta kaya maraming tao. No vehicles to be found. Kaya no choice kundi maglakad. May nakasabayan Rin kaming nga estudyante sa ibat ibang paaralan. I knew it kasi they are wearing their P.E uniform sila Yung humahawak sa lubid para hindi ma damugan ng tao ang nag parada.

"Miss , Can I get your number?" Tanong ng isang lalaking may hawak ng snare drum. Lahat ng kasama Niya ay lumapit narin sakin kaya kinabahan ako.

"Hindi pwede" Sav held my hand and then he exchange places with me. Para di ako sa may kalsada dapit naglalakad. He eyed the one who was taking my number earlier.

"Tsk. Siya naman tinatanong ko ha?" Sagot ng lalaki at akmang pupunta sa direksiyon ko.

"Can't you see she's taken? Fuck ! Umalis na kayo!"

He held my waist and started walking. Hindi Niya na Yun nabitawan hanggang sa umabot kami sa open field Kung saan gaganapin ang event. Nakita namin ang mga kaklasi namin kaya pumunta kami roon. "Chandria! Saviour! Here!" sigaw ni Courtney samin. Sav's hand is still on my waist. Baka makita "Hey, your hand" Sabi ko sakanya.

"Bakit?"si Sav.

"Baka makita nila-" Hindi Niya na ako pinatapos.

"I don't care" at nakaabot na kami sa may staircase.

Nakita ko si Liz sa may waiting area kaya I wave at her and mouthed "Good luck!"

"Delancy ! Comet ! " Sigaw ulit no Courtney .

Makita namin so Delancy na nakasimangot at si Comet naman mukang badtrip. Baka nag away Ang dalawa.

"Hi everyone !" Pilit na ngumiti ito at lumapit si Delancy samin .

Ika 4 na mag perform Ang school namin Maya bumili muna ng pagkain Ang nga lalaki.

" Go Blue Raven ! Fight ! Fight ! Fight ! Ashes to ashes dust to dust ! We hate to beat you but we must! We must!" Students from our school started cheering.

"We're here ! We're here ! We're here to fight for V-VI-VICTORY !!!!"

Then here comes our school DBLC with their blue and white attire. I saw Liz on the front since she is like the "mother" that's what they call it saamin. It's like the leader somehow.

Bumalik na si Sav at sila Comet sa upuan nila. Sav handed me a bag of chips and a bottle of water.

"Wait is that Vyx?" Tanong ni Delancy habang tinuturo ang lalaking nasa mga nagdadala ng drums. Byx was the one holding the snare.

"Yup, their snare drummer boy Lucas got injured so Vyx took for the team"

We all nodded in response . I then suddenly remember he was part of the band . Pero di ba vocalist siya? Baka marunong lang din mag drums so.

The show started and we all continuously cheer for our school. Then the battle of the head majorrette began . Nahulog nga ni Liz ang baton niya pero buti nalang nagawan Niya ng paraan para hindi halata at mukhang sinadya sng pagkahulog nito.

Announcing of winners na kaya kabado ako kahit hindi naman ako kasali. The emcee standing on the podium with an envelope in his hands. He is slowly reading it. "3rd place goes to ........Golden Tigers!from Celestine High! " Everyone from the said school yelled their cheer! They went to the stage and took a picture. Then the emcee continue " 2nd place is from .......... Blackcats ! Villadiar High

"1st placer is from ....... Purple Lions!from Zaltier High!"

"Let's roar purple Lions!" The crowd cheered.

"And the champion both mother and the DBLC itself with a unanimous vote is from the.........*drumroll* Blue Ravens!!!!" We all flew up to our seats and started jumping and screaming with joy!. We won!

Confetti's were everywhere and drumrolls are heard. We all are so happy to won the finals. And Liz won her place too!

"Liz Congratulations! I'm so happy for you" I walk towards my bestfriend. She is smiling delightly . I hug her and she hug be tighter instead.

"Thank you!" She said .
