"What is a dream to you" the words were traced out on the white board, bright lights were shimmering in the hall, filled with lots of head pointing towards there front.A man in grey suit turned around the corner, pointing a board marker towards a boy in cheque shirt causing him to stand abruptly.

"A dream is something we pursue to turn it into reality." The older male nodded his head now pointing his pen over a girl wearing a yellow head band asking her if she agrees with the latter, the girl shook her head in approval.

"Have you been able to do that?" the man asked now pausing his steps.
"Yes sir, it has always been my dream to work in a field where I could deal with humans mind and it's credibility. although I'm still in a way to pursue it, but that equally means I am able to capture it soon."

"So it means if we pursue our dream we might be able to achieve it?" the male asked getting a yes from the latter.

A thin hand raised itself from the far back of the room, as a girl stood up, her ponytail flaunting towards her shoulder, she was short, really short because the teacher wasn't able to look her through the other two males.

"I would like to disagree" she spoke in the midst of standing up, now her face seemed quite visible.

"Obviously it's just my opinion, but I guess we can learn more from experiences rather than reading motivational quotes." there was an abrupt chuckle from the males who were sitting beside the said female.

The teacher asked her to come out in front to explain herself better, the latter walked down towards the white board, brushing off her black jeans over a maroon shirt.she coughed a bit before speaking.

"Think about the dream you've had, a dream which always remained a dream, no matter how much you tried to hold it firm it still find a way to seep away just like sand, which can be touched but not held, People say hardwork is worth a try and only hardwork can be a reason for success. But in my opinion, fate has a really important role. If it's written, you'll get it, and if it's not written, even if you fight tooth and nail for it, you'll still see it going away further from you in someone else's hand, and at that time you can just look at it as an unrequited desire."

Her eyes roam around the class before landing on the professor.

"So sure, a dream is something which you can pursue but you cannot always achieve it".

There was a satisfied smile on the old mans face.

"As sure as your brain works in unnecesssry works, you're quite witted with intelligence too." The make said offending her successfuly.

Group of male were standing outside the class, as soon as the bell rang, Ella walked out pausing on her steps and then immediately slapping on the head of a boy,

"You took my book yesterday and didn't even bother to give it back?" her hands snatched the bag from latter's shoulder taking the respective book out.

"Okay, sorry!" he rubbed through his head, which she replied with a humorless chuckle.

"Did the nagging bear scold you?" the other male asked, a cap placed on his head.

"Nah, I sat at the very back" she joined the males walking out towards cafeteria. It was kind of strange yet impressive for her to become a lot more better version of herself, maybe it's true passing year can do alot. Older her would run away whenever faced by a male crowd, and probably snicker at the thought of calling teachers name or sitting at the back of class.

All of them entered inside the hall, walking towards there signature seat, Ella diverted her path towards the canteen joined by the guy with cap named Daniel.

"Move, we are in a hurry" Ella voiced out patting some girls shoulder.

"Excuse me, we are all in hurry, get in the line" she replied, and Ella almost cursed when Daniel started to move back.

"Look here" her hands removed the jacket from the named boy.

"He is the president of social community, unlike you he has a lot of other work to do so move" her gaze signaled Daniel to take the lead and so he did breaking and entering between the line, Meanwhile Ella pushed the girl behind.

"ELLA!!"

The voice called, and the two of them winced, the so-called nagging bear they talked about was finally here.

"No sir it isn't his fault I felt sick a bit earlier so he was just trying to buy me some food." Ella interrupted as the older male continued to type in the detention.

"This is the 5th time in a week that you feel sick." Ella rolled her eyes peeking into what the male was writing.

"Sir, I will not be cleaning any rest-rooms. I am clearly telling you this." Ella yelped out, however her voice didn't seem sharp instead whiny.

"Why would I give you a task when I know you'll sneek away easily.." The teacher murmured now handing the letter to her, and her eyes seemed to have flew away from the sockets.

"Sir, I'm really sorry just don't make me do this." She passed the letter to Danielle who was standing beside her.

It said that she had to be one of guest speaker for the tomorrows orientation, Ella was a good speaker, and observer. But whenever it comes to be the centre of attention she would fall back, she had written a lot of speeches so that other could proclaim them out, but there had never been a time when she wanted to take the credits for it.

"Can you not ask Mina again? she did the speech last time too. I can write for her." Ella leaned towards the desk, speaking diligently and in somewhat pleading way.

"If you can write then why not present?" he spoke in a mischeif and Ella was quick to look away saying things like she is claustrophobic.

"Then there is always a first time for everything!" The older male said, she got stunned for a while, moving only to nudge Danielle when he laughed. Since he was given the responsibility to take Ella there at any cost , she knew there was no escaping through it.

"Just think of it as.... what if the first time gets all fucked up?" Ella said too quickly and too loudly causing the male to shoot her a look, and she was quick to apologize.

"If something fucked upon it's first time, this doesn't mean that everything will." She along with the other boy got shocked upon the f word and plus the line itself made a lot more sense than Ella.

"Now leave, before I give you another detention on the use of informal language." the two took the letter, now running around the corner quickly.
