It had been hours since this guy had replied. I felt as if destiny was being really cruel with me since all the guys in my life weren't talking to me. Roy had to head back home for a day. Something to do with the call he got at the bonfire. Something to do with his racing. MonMon and Jimbo wanted to spend time with their 'girlfriends'. Ew. Barf. Jerko and I were cool but we were keeping some distance from each other to let things settle on their own. Xav was pissed off with me and this mystery guy didn't seem to want to reply too.

"Hey, Jen?" I asked as I approached her while she was sitting on the couch watching Devil Wears Prada on the tv.

"Yeah, honey?" she replied.

"Do you mind if Xav and I go out today? You know like to hang out?"

She pressed pause on the remote and gave me her full attention. "Are you guys going on a date?" she asked as she wiggled her eyebrows.

I narrowed my eyes and replied, "No. He is upset with me. I want to make things go back to normal so I am planning to drag him with me."

"Does he have a say in this?"

"Not at all."

"Nice. Well, I thought the three of us could do something together but its okay. You two go have fun. I'll take Austin with me."

"Jen, you are the bestest best friend ever!!!" I said as I gave her a big hug.

"I know, I know. Now get off of me and think about how you are going to convince Xav to go with you."

"I'll think of something. I always do," I said with a devious grin as I cooked up a plan in my mind.

"Xavier, I was out for a walk and this random guy came and held me at gunpoint," I said on the phone as I cried. "He then forced me to give him my bag that I was carrying, the one in which I had my wallet. When I tried to run after him I tripped over this rock and I think I fractured my leg. It hurts so much, Xav. Can you please come by the hardware shop in the market and come and get me?"

I wiped away the fake tears and waited for Xavier to come get me as I sat on the sidewalk of the isolated market. It was 4pm and I started playing Candy Crush on my phone but looked up when I heard the rumble of an engine. He came under 10 minutes, much faster than I expected since the market was 20 minutes away. I'm pretty sure he jumped a few signals on the way here.

The door of Jerko's black Challenger was banged shut as Xavier rushed towards me. Before I could even open my mouth I was almost knocked out by the force of the hug he gave me.

"Are you okay? Did that asshole touch you? I haven't called the police yet, I wanted to see if you were okay myself first. I wasn't sure if you wanted to call the cops yourself or not too. There wasn't anyone else home or else I would have gotten Austin or Jen with me. Do you want to go to the doctor first? Do you want me to pick you up maybe? Just tell me what you need and I-"

I put my finger on his lips before he could ramble any more.

"Xavier. Calm down. I'm fine. It was just a prank to get you here and talk to me. Just normal talking."

"What?" he asked with wide eyes, voice still muffled under my finger.

"You weren't talking to me and I didn't like that. So I thought why not put you in a position where you are forced to. I didn't get robbed neither did I hurt myself. I'm fine. Perfect, actually."
