Evelynn: You can't know that! You can't know what authors want!

Alexa: Why not? Because you lived your entire life in a place filled with books?

Evelynn: No, because you don't know what it is like to be an author. Because you have no clue what would happen if authors didn't fullfil their destiny.

Alexa: Oh really? Is that so?

Alexa takes off her glasses and reveals her grey eyes for the first time

Alexa: Any questions? Let me guess. Too many?

Evelynn: Are you ...?

Alexa: An author? Yup. But I've never actually written something. And surprise, surprise. The world still exists.

Evelynn: But you weren't the only author here. Other people kept the world from destroying itself.

Alexa: That's my point, Evelynn. They were not. The worlds can handle themselves. Actually they're just being held back by the Library. There is a reason why you got gems instead of money. And it's not a coincidence they didn't teach you how phones work. The Library never bothered to send authors here.

Evelynn: No.

Alexa: No? You can't just say no.

Evelynn: But they said ...

Alexa: They told lies, Evelynn. You can't believe a single word they said. Every world is in danger if we just let the Library continue like that. In every world, every universe, there is one person like you. An author who writes their own story. Something like this only happens every 1000 years. And since your story isn't finished ...

Evelynn: What are you talking about? My story is finished? It ended when the play was over.

Alexa: No, it will end when the sun rises. It's your decision if you want to end it by being the hero or by waiting around.

Evelynn: Don't act like this is my decision. You have the book - I'm sure you wrote the way this will end.

Alexa: People can't be forced to be heroes. And I won't force you to do anything. Because I am not like that. That's something the Library does and I will not follow in their train.

Evelynn: Then don't expect me to do anything.

Alexa: Because you trust the Library? Haven't you ever questioned the way the magic books work? You're supposed to write a story for the people that belong to the book. You have to write their backstory, relationships and all about their lives. But you don't know anything about them. You can't just expect to be right about everything you write down. You know, I asked the students here. Before you started writing the book, everything was different. Helen and Justin were a great couple. Then you made them want to break up and gave Helen some kind of depression. Just to explain she was a bully? To make it more believable? Before you arrived, she was one of the least popular people at this school! She didn't bully anyone!

Evelynn: No ... No, I would have never changed the characters that way. The Library taught ...

Alexa: The characters? Evelynn, this is real life. Would you please THINK!

Evelynn: I- I'm sorry.

Christoph walks up to them.

Christoph: Alexa, you didn't tell me it was her.

Alexa: What are you talking about? Chris, do you know her?

Evelynn: Christoph? What are you doing here?

Christoph: Trying to save the world ... What else would you do on a Friday night?

Evelynn: Do you know her?
