I was fixing my hair when I decided to let Bin know that I was ready. I missed him already! How is this possible? Is this really how it feels?

I know I played so many romantic leads in movies and tv shows but I have to admit that sometimes, there were scened when I had to roll my eyes at how some characters couldn't seem to get enough of their loves. Yet, here I am now.

Well, if I were really honest, I had been needing that constant contact with Bin even when we weren't dating. I liked talking to him and sharing different viewpoints after all. It's just that, nowadays, I was free to admit that I missed seeing him.

I heard my door open and decided to meet him outside. Thankfully, my shoes weren't on yet, otherwise I would have tripped because I was surprised to his look. Hyun Bin on an ordinary day was already handsome, but on a day that he prepares for? It could cause fainting spells.

And he has shaved, so his perfect face was on full view.

"Omo. You've taken it all off?"

His eyes widened. "No, Jin-ssi. Don't say such a scandalous thing just before we are to meet your parents."

We laughed at his joke and I continued to run my hands through his face. He had many looks that I like, this one was my favorite.

I'm glad that he liked what I picked for today, too.

Soon, we were on our way to meet my parents. At the car though, I still continued to stare. "Ye Jin-ssi, you're making me uncomfortable."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Binnie. I just missed this face of yours," I admitted. Leaning toward him, I asked, "May I kiss your cheek?"

He gave me a dimpled smile and nodded. Slightly bending, he whispered, "You are too adorable, Jin-ssi."

He held my hand as we continued chatting the rest of the way.

Though we could drive to our family home, it was too long to do so and my father suggested a place midway. It was a private villa so we didn't have to worry about unauthorized photos being taken and it had a golf course that we could head to if time permits.

When we got to the venue, I noticed Bin's hand started to get clammy. "What's wrong?"

"Just a little worried," he admitted.

"Don't be!" I assured. Truly, there was nothing for him to worry about. My parents could be strict, but my mother had always like Bin.

When we started going out as friends, mother observed, "He's very respectful."

There were few chances to meet but there have been a few holidays and birthdays where Bin would make the effort to drop by or send gifts. One time, he gave me an expensive bag from Italy and a certain tea that I liked. Seeing the package, Mother was more pleased about the tea. "Those are good. Good for your health. I am glad that he is looking out for you."

One time, she even took his side. I was at home and Bin promised to see me for one holiday. But, the agency booked a fan meeting and so many people already confirmed that it wouldn't be practical to take a side trip. Though I understood, I couldn't help but feel slighted. Mother spoke up, "You cannot make such demands when you are simply a friend."

"He promised, Eomma."

"And he did not wish to break it but there's lots of fans waiting."

"I know," I said still pouting. "If I were a girlfriend, could I ask such things?"

"Of course not. You know better. But perhaps, you can tell him how you feel and he could consider," she advised.
