The sea's a scary place
The water's embrace
Doesn't leave much breathing space
But I'll keep a straight face
The water is freezing
But it's becoming pleasing
And my hearts is finally easing
Along with my brain appeasing
The deeper you roam
The less it feels like a dome
The more it feels like home
And the deep end shows you the chrome
You make friends with the sand
As you let is slip through your hand
Your heart expands
And you begin to understand
Even if the fish watch you militarily
And the sharks wait warily
I jumped voluntarily
And this isn't temporarily
So you can jump in with me
Or support me from the beach's palm tree
Or you can disagree
And I'll say fuck you and be free

Thanks for the inspiration Katie. Means a lot.
