Nathaniel x Reader

"Hey, Nath!" You called, looking for him as you fast walked down the hallway of Sweet Amoris. 

As you entered the student counsel room, you finally found the golden eyed male. "There you are! I had a question for you." 

"Of course!" He smiled, as you felt a blush rise to your cheeks. "Ask away." 

"Could you help me study for the upcoming exam? I looked through my notes over and over, but I still don't understand it." You asked, tilting your head as your (Y/H/L) hair fell in front of your face. 

"Um, well..." He trailed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I kind of already said I'd help Melody..." He looked down and hung his head in shame. 

"Oh, I see... That's too bad. I really wanted to study with you." You say, as you clasp your hands in front of you and shyly turn away. 

As you reach for the doorknob, Nathaniel places a warm hand on your shoulder. "Actually, I'll help you out. I'll just tell Melody I forgot I agreed to help you study first." Nath smiled, straightening up as his gold eyes flashed with mischief. 

You rose an eyebrow at him, the mischief in his eyes clearly evident to you. "Ohh, now don't go painting yourself as a bad boy, Nath." You teased, smiling and giggling as he sweat dropped at your comment. 

"I-I won't, (Y/N)." He looked away, blushing like mad. 

You turned to leave - perfect timing since Melody came into the room just that moment. 

"O-oh! Hi (Y/N). Am I interrupting anything?" She inquired rather rudely, crossing her arms. 

"Nope. I was just dropping some paperwork off, courtesy of the principal." I gave a fake smile as I walked out, feeling Melody's eyes glare daggers in the back of my skull. 

"Man, that girl has some real issues," you thought, as you rolled your eyes and went to class.

When the final bell rang, you almost ran out of your classroom, eager to get to Nathaniel before Melody did. You sighed in relief when you found the blonde male standing under the trees in the courtyard. 

"Hey, (Y/N). Perfect timing!" He smiled as he waved you over. 

You quickly walked to him, greeting him with a nod. "Hello! Did you get everything sorted out with Melody?" You asked, concerned. 

He nodded shyly. "Yeah, she wasn't happy to say the least...." He trailed, rubbing his neck. "Anyway, what do you say we get out of here?" He awkwardly grabbed my wrist and pulled me with him, as we walked to my apartment. 

As we entered my apartment, Nath set his backpack on my floor, near my dresser. 

"Oh shit!! Please don't look up, don't look up..." I thought, as I realized that the picture of Nathaniel Rosa gave me was still on my shelf. 

He did look up, and I cursed under my breath. "Um, (Y/N), why is there a picture of me on your dresser?...." 

He blushed, looking away. "Um, it was a weird gift I got from Rosella. I didn't want to be mean, so I kept it." I lied, looking away. 

He came over to me, touching my shoulder to turn me around. "Um, (Y/N). I... um-" He cut himself off, his golden eyes avoiding my gaze as he turned his pink cheeks away. 

"What were you going to say, Nath? You know you can tell me anything." 

He looked up from the ground. "Anything?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked away again. 

I nodded. "Yes, anything." I looked at him, suddenly becoming brave. I grabbed his chin softly and turned his face to look at me. 

He took a deep breath, his gold eyes finally meeting your (Y/E/C) ones. He leaned in until his lips were only a centimetre away from yours. 

"N-Nath..." You whispered, your warm breath hitting his lips. 

This sensation drove him over the edge, as he leaned in and kissed you hesitantly. 

You instantly kissed back, pulling him closer. He sighed into the kiss, wrapping his warm arms around your waist. 

When air became vital, you both pulled away. "I love you, (Y/N)." 

You smiled as you got lost in his gold eyes. "I love you too, Nathaniel."
