Magnus and Alec

The sun came streaming through the gap in the red velvet curtains, Alec lay on the bed with the covers pulled up to his waist revealing his bare chest and his body covered in runes. Stuffing his head into the pillow before sighing, and blinking to get used to the morning sun and rolling to his side, his hand hitting the sponge of the mattress he turned his head to see space next to him, the covers draped off.

"Magnus" mumbled before sitting up and walking out of the room, he found Magnus in the kitchen. Soft jazz music playing in the background, he was pouring coffee into a mug and placing it onto the tray that had a plate of delicious-looking pancakes with chopped strawberries and blueberries on top, with a little jug of maple syrup next to it with a full glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Magnus went to pick up the tray looking up in surprise to see Alec standing in front of him with his messy morning hair and only wearing his black sweatpants. Alec rubbed his eyes yawning. Magnus put the tray back down on the kitchen bench, he walked over to Alec and smirked.

"Alexander, what's the point of breakfast in bed when you're not in bed," Magnus said, trailing his hands over Alec's arms.

"Every morning you have made me breakfast in bed, maybe I should make breakfast for you?" Alec said, smiling at Magnus. Magnus chuckled.

"Oh Alexander you would have to wake up before me.....and be in the kitchen alone I don't think so." Alec looked taken back.

"I can get up early and the last time I was in the kitchen it wasn't that bad."

"Last time you decided to make dinner you almost set the kitchen on fire!" Said Magnus.

"Almost," Alec added. Magnus just laughed pulling Alec in and kissing him, Magnus slipped his hand around to support Alec's neck, Alec put his arms around Magnus's waist. They pulled apart and Alec still had his arms around Magnus's waist. Magnus stared down at Alec's bare chest and raised his eyebrow.

"Well then we can have breakfast together but do go and put a shirt on I can't keep looking at you shirtless. I won't be able to eat!" Alec just laughed, turning to go back to the room, Magnus gave him a little hit on the behind which made Alec jump.

Magnus and Alec had decided to quarantine together when they were put into lockdown due to COVID-19, they had been in lockdown together for the past two weeks and have been loving every moment of it, they haven't had this much time alone for so long. Alec's parents had wanted him to come back to Idris but he wanted to stay in New York with Magnus. Magnus had been happy and surprised that Alec had asked if it was alright if he stayed with him. Alec's sister Isabelle was staying with Simon, her boyfriend much to their parents' horror, they at first weren't too pleased both to have both their children dating Downworlders but finally accepted it. Alec's Parabatai Jace was staying with his girlfriend Clary, who was staying with her parents Jocelyn and Luke in their cabin in the countryside, they wanted a break from the busyness of the city.

Magnus sat at the table in the open space of his loft apartment, Plate of pancakes in front of him, and front of the seat opposite him. Jazz music continues to play in the background. Alec came walking back, with a fresh dark maroon colored shirt he had managed to brush his messy hair out of his face. He sat down digging into his pancakes.

"These are so good Magnus," Said Alec with a mouthful of pancake in his mouth.

"That's good to hear," answered Magnus, taking a sip of his coffee.

"You can't keep spoiling me like this..." said Alec, placing down his cutlery and looking at Magnus.

"Spoil? No, I like to think of it as a nice thing to do for my boyfriend." Said Magnus smiling.
