She ran down the street in a pair of neon stilettos and whatever was left of her clothing. The street seemed to shimmer in the streetlights due to the rain that was coming down in a drizzle. Her hair clung to her bare back as she held up the top of her dress, the straps having been ripped off of her shoulders. Her appartment building was up ahead, if she could just get in beofor the gavity of what had happened could hit her than she can try and forget about it over a glass of wine. Just 3 more blocks, not too much farther. The images flashed behind her eyelids when she blinked away the raindrops and tears, both running down her melting face. The keys shoved into her bra scratched her chest as she pulled them out before even getting into the building.
She collapsed on the bed, hissing, as her feet were finally layed to rest. Her eyes lulled shut as colors danced in the darkness from the overhead light, flickering every other revolution of the fan.
Sending her shoes flying across the room, she made her way to the bathroom. The mirror was cloudy and had stains she couldnt remove but she saw it clearly. The deshevaled mess infront of her looked at her in disgust. The florecent lights makeing it appear more frightening and angry. But seeing her in this condition; makeup running down her face, lipstick smeared, eyes bloodshot and dead, it struck a cord.
And that's when all of the nights event flooded back to her with a persistance of a ravenous wolf.
The party got out of hand, she should have left when Sarah asked if she wanted a ride but she denied. She was enjoying herself and felt like she was okay with or without Sarah watching over her drunken stupor. But, once Sarah was gone she felt no restriction and when they brought out the coke...
She couldn't stop herself, it made her feel awake. It made her feel alive for once in her foul life. Fucked up on someones couch wasnt where she was planning to go with her life but thats just the way it goes.
But then someone came up to her on that couch and told her things that made her feel strange. Having that same person begin to lead her out of the house and into the pouring rain made her feel even worse.
They got into a car and sped off somewhere, where that was exactly she still doesnt know. In an empty parking lot of what would be a spirit halloween that next month was where they finally stopped. Her head lulled as she tried to hold onto conciouness but was slowly blacking out. Bits and peices, their hands on those peices. She slurred a slow and garbled "stop" but that never does anything to stop them. All she can remember were their eyes, a peircing set that felt like they could bore into her soul and take anything they wanted from her. But nothing else. Their apperance faded in and out of her mind as she gripped onto the sink, gritting her teeth. Fuck... she couldn't remember what they looked like. Only those eyes, the eyes she could see looking back at her in the mirror. The eyes that peered at her from shop windows as she ran past, the eyes from the puddles in the street. That women's eyes. Peircing eyes, eyes of the one who grabbed her, jolted her. Then promptly throwing her out of a car near an ally like a cheap whore. Her knees were scrapped, her arms burned from raod rash.
She wasnt far from her appartment at least, which was the most concerning part.
"Does she know where i live, is she watching me right now?" She mumbled as her body shook.
She left the bathroom, not baring to look at herself in the mirror any longer. Stumbling to the bed with a single pillow on the left side, she lied down. Not on her back but on her stomach, a lesson burned into her mind by Sarah. Which was only because the insidents where she didnt listen to her friends advice were plenty. A few trips to the hospital and her lesson was never learned. Maybe she didn't want to learn a lesson, maybe... she just wanted to finally sleep.
(Sorry if this was bad, i made it up as i went along)
