CONGRATULATIONS!!
You've made it to high school! Whether you're returning for another year or are fresh me- new to the building, we welcome you to a the horror sh- delight that is high school!
Small disclaimer: We are not responsible for the quality of your experience. That depends on how you make it and how your teachers want to make themselves memorable to you. Whether that's failing a project you should've passed or letting you hang out in their room during lunch, it is up to your teachers on how part of the experience will go.
Tip #1:
The night before school starts, you will feel a bit jittery. You will not be able to sleep and you'll be full of energy. This is to be completely expected on the occasion that you are going somewhere new. If you are returning and feel like this, it is also normal because these are people you have not seen in about 6 or 7 months. People will change and so will their opinions and views on the world. You, yourself will also change and grow into a new man, woman or non-binary person so it's important to remember that no one will stay the same.
When you first enter the building, try to find a friend. This will make the first 30 minutes of homeroom seem more bearable. You both can stumble about trying to find your way to new or old classes. Once you make it to your homeroom class, you don't have to remember where it is. Schools are most likely using the software called "School tools" which will have your homeroom number for when the special occasions arise that you actually need to be there.
