Monday Rain ( Sugawara Koushi X Reader )

MONDAY RAIN

I was going home from school, then a cold breeze of wind hit me, as raindrops fell on me making my belongings soaked in water

" My notes! " I spoke in an annoyed voice, seeing all my hard work get blurry as more raindrops hit it

I tried to get to a place where i wasn't getting wet by the rain, i tried to get my umbrella to cover myself from the rainwater. But i completely forgot to bring it today

" The one time i didn't bring it! " I said trying not to get irritated and livid which was now impossible

I just then sat down on a a bench near a cherry blossom park near me, As i dryed my hair with my handkerchief making my hair strands damp, and closed my eyes i waited for to rain to stop pouring

" Hey y/n " I heard someone call out my name, wondering how rain stopped dripping on me

As i open my eyes, i smiled when i saw a Silver-haired third year looking down on me and protecting me from the rain with a transparent umbrella

" Hey sugawara-san " I said to him, letting all my frustration disappear from that smile of his

" I'll walk you home " He said as he got a flushed a tint of red appearing on his cheeks, seeing a new side of him i never saw before

I let out a small chuckle making him even more flustered, i smiled at him and thanked him as our on your way to my one-person apartment

It was a bit awkward as none of us talked yet, so i tried to speak up and looked at him then we locked eyes. His beautiful hazel-brown eyes and his birthmark under his left eye

" y/n? Are you ok? " Suga asked me wearing his signature gentle smile, slightly squinting his eyes

" I-im alright, just embarrassed " I said, responding to his question covering my face in embarrassment

" y/n, don't cover your face " He said to me rather suprising me a bit

" Oh, o-ok.." I said stuttering, making me fall for him even more than i already have

We continued to walk to my apartment sharing one umbrella together, ung fingers grazing each other making the both us blush everytime, but then he held my hand

" If you're uncomfortable with me holding your hand just tell me ok? " He said to me, reassuring his movements that it was alright

" Hey y/n "
" Hey sugawara-san "
The both of us saying in sync making us laugh in the rain, making him tell me

" You go first y/n " He said to me insisting for me to tell my interest just now

" This may sound weird.. " I said to him, attempting to keep a straight face and not to be a mess in front of him

" Go on, take your time " He softly said to me, he was the ideal man everyone wanted..so i took my shot

" I-I LIKE YOU! I really do! No! I...I love you " I said wanting to take back what i said to avoid being rejected

Sugawara let out a genuine laugh

" Was that why you were red when i held your hand? " He asked me after he laughed, he was still respectful though

" Yes, im sorry " I responded to him as i stopped walking, embarrassed that i told him how i felt in such a manner

He then walked up to me holding his umbrella, and put his hands on my cheek making me a bit flustered then he told me something i didn't believe

" Why were you so worried? I like you too y/n..with all my heart " He said to me again with his gentle and genuine grin, making me smile again

" You do? " I asked him, wondering if he could really be inlove with me

" Yes, now y/n let's get you home ok? " He told me while the raindrops continued

I nodded him a yes, i was happy he actually liked me, i guess im just one lucky person. Quietly snickering at the thought

" Hey sugawara-san? I why not stay at my place for the night? The rains not stopping yet " I told him trying to convince him to stay the night at my place

" Yeah! I don't see why not " He said to me mostly excited, as i wonder when the rain would stop

When we were in my apartment that same night, we first watched some short movies, then suga willingly baked some cookies for the both of us

" I didn't know you could bake sugawara-san " I told him acting a bit surprised by his actions

" I bake for the volleyball team when i get the chance " He sid responding to my question as he put the tray with cookie dough in the oven

After we watched even more movies, and ate some of his homemade cookies, i swear he is amazing, it was really good! I can't see anyone hating him, he's an angel..

Then we went to sleep he insisted to sleep on the couch but i told him he could sleep on the bed with me, he was a blushing mess, i didn't mind though, Then we slept feeling each others warmth and i fell asleep to suga's soft humming

The next morning

" Goodmorning sugar " He greeted me as always smiling, i was still on my bed when he gave me breakfast

" Sugawara-san " I said in a slightly embarrassed tone, smiling at the gesture of him bringing me breakfast in bed

" I love you so much y/n " He said to me going near my bedroom door

" I love you too Sugawara-san " I said as i saw him leave my room for my privacy and looked the breakfast tray he gave me

Since that specific day, i loved monday rain
