venus entered the crowded room. the smell of different l- -iquids entering her nose as she navigated her way around. she managed to find an empty corner that wasn't crowded and crouched down to sit on her skateboard.
she pulled out her phone and began to text katelyn, wondering where she was. she was the one who dra- -gged her to the party in the first place and had told her she was 'too eager' to wait and had already gone inside the house.

venus sighed and went to grab a drink. it wasn't anything too crazy only a w- -hite claw. she knew better than to get blackout drunk in a party full of people she wasn't familiar with. her older sister, serenity, already told her to be careful. she would say, "girl i am two years older than you and have WAY more experience, so trust me when i tell you not to go too crazy and get taken advantage of. don't let anyone sus hold your drink tonight."
and that was the plan.only let katelyn hold her drink during the night. and so she danced and sang along to songs finding kat- -elyn along the way. she eventually lost her again when she re- -alized she needed the bathroom. 'great, who the fuck is gonna hold my drink..'
she searched the crowd and eventually found a guy with curly brown hair. he seemed to be holding a skateboard and talking to a guy with blonde hair and a girl next to him with redish blo- -nde hair—who venus assumed was the blonde guy's girlfriend.
