Chapter Eighty-Six.

Start from the beginning

"Are you exccited to see Gianna again?" Joe asked.

"Yeah," I smiled as I picked up Maisie.

"So when are they arriving?" Joe asked.

"Monday, so day after tomorrow," I smiled.

"Okay, we can grocery shopping either today or tomorrow, and I'll get the cot and Fletch can either sleep in our room or Maisie's and Lia's room."

"Probably with Maisie and Lia," I winked to Joe jokingly.

  "Okay," Joe laughed.

"Should we just get groceries today? We have nothing else planned and then tomorrow I can clean the apartment," I suggested.

  "Sounds good babe," Joe smiled.

"Fletcher, you get your shoes, and Maisie's, please," I asked Fletcher.

Fletcher scurried off to get their shoes and I slipped on my shoes while Joe put on his. I put a jacket on Lia and little socks. I then strapped her into the baby carrier and Joe put on Fletcher's and Maisie's shoes on them. I carried the baby bag and Lia to the car while Joe carried Maisie, and Fletcher walked, of course.

"Ready?" Joe asked as he sat in the driver's seat.

  "Yup," I smiled.

We drove to the grocery store and I got a cart for the Lia to sit in the basket and Maisie in the seat for kids. We shopped around getting snacks for the kids and drinks and whatever food we woukd really need. A couple of Joe's fans came and said hello and took pictures with all of us.

We then checked out, loaded the car, and drove back to the apartment. Once back in the apartment, the kids played and we left Lia, comfortably, in her baby carrier while we unpacked the abundance of groceries.

"Do you want to go out anywhere else today?" I asked Joe.

"I don't mind, do you need to buy anything?" Joe asked.

"I don't think so," I said as I thought about if there was anything we needed.

"Alright, then we can relax," Joe smiled as we had finished putting away the groceries and we sat on the sofa together.

"Mummy! Daddy! Play with us!" Fletcher asked as Lia started crying.

  "I'll get her," Joe smiled.

I sat on the floor and criss-crossed my legs and Maisie came and sat in my lap. I rolled some of Fletcher's cars and he chased after them and lined them up and tried to get them all to go at once. Maisie would play with a couple and her dolls and pretty much just carry them.

"Babe, I think she's more hungry than anything," Joe said.

"Okay," I groaned, at times like this, I regret breast-feeding.

I sat on the sofa and fed Lia while Joe played with Fletcher. Maisie climbed onto the sofa and onto my lap, pushing Lia in the process.

  "Maisie, careful," I said.

Maisie looked at me before starting to cry.

"Sh, Maisie, it's okay baby," I tried consoling her.

I just want to wrap my arms around her and hold her, but Lia needs feeding. Joe got up and picked up Maisie, holding her on his hip.

"Sh, it's okay," Joe said wiping her small tears away, "What happened?"

"I think she's mayne jealous of Lia, or feeling left out a bit," I suggested.

"Want to play with Fletcher and I?" Joe asked.

"No! Want Mummy," Maisie continued crying.

Thankfully, Lia stopped feeding, so I gave Lia to Joe so he could burp her, and Joe gave me Maisie. Maisie curled up on my lap, cuddling up to me. I gently stroked her back and held her close to me.

"I love you Maisie," I said giving her a small kiss on her forehead.

Joe layed Lia on a blanket on the floor and watched her as he played with Fletcher again.

"Damn babe, three kids is harder than I thought," I laughed.

"It'll get easier," Joe assured me, "I hope."

  "I love you," I said.

"I love you too Joe," I smiled.

After a while, we had lunch and then the kids went down for a nap. Joe and I cuddled on the sofa and just talked about anything and everything.

  "Are you happy?" Joe asked.

  "Huh?" I asked.

"Like are you happy with our family, lifestyle, financials?"

  "Of course!" I laughed.

"I just wanted to make sure, you've seemed a bit down recently," Joe said.

"I'm not, I'm sorry babe, I've just been stressed with the kids and handling not only two toddlers but an infant," I said.

"I understand," Joe smiled as he leaned forward and gave me a kiss, "I can relieve your stress for you," Joe winked.

"Oh my goodness Joe!" I laughed, "Not now, the kids will be getting up soon!"

"Dammit, I left it too late," Joe laughed jokingly.

  "Maybe later," I winked.

Joe nodded and I resumed by cuddling position with Joe on the sofa and I rested my eyes before the kids woke up.

Soon enough, Fletcher and Maisie did, in fact, wake up. Joe andnI tried to get them to quiet down a bit so they didn't wake up Lia, but obviously, that failed, and Lia woke up and started crying. Joe got her up and stopped her crying and changed her diaper. I then followed by changing Maisie's pull-up.

"What do you want for dinner?" Joe asked.

"Hm, let's just get pizza tonight, I'm not in the mood for going out for dinner," I shrugged.

  "Sounds good," Joe smiled.

A few hours later, Joe called and had the pizza delivered. We then ate and then Joe and I bathed the kids and put them into their pajamas before putting them to bed around 9 o'clock.

Joe and I then cleaned up the leftover pizza and then cuddled up on the sofa for a while before Joe finally persuaded me to head to bed with him, not to sleep, of course.

"I love you babe, if you don't want to-" Joe said.

"No babe, I want to, don't worry, I'm on the pill now anyway," I assured Joe.

  "So, no condom?"

"Not unless you want to?" I laughed.

"Hell no!" Joe laughed as he threw the unopened condom on the ground.

I slowly undressed myself, making Joe fustrated at the slow pace I was going at.

  "God dammit Aly!" Joe laughed.

Once I was completely undressed, Joe had already been undressed for a bit. I swear he's sometimes a nudist. Joe wrapped his arms around my waist.
