Chapter 1

“Good evening.” The people squealed with that simple greeting. Hinampas pa ako ni Mallory at nakitili rin.

My eyes became fixated to the man standing behind the micstand. He’s wearing a black graphic shirt with a slight rip on the collarbone, I don’t know if that’s a style or what. He’s also wearing a black ripped pants. The studs on his ears are shining, even the rings on his fingers are being illuminated by the spotlight.

Napatunganga na lang ako sa kaniyang mukha habang abala siya sa pagbati sa dagat ng mga tao.

He’s handsome.

I couldn’t believe that he’s even more this good-looking in personal. His dark hair is slightly disheveled while his hazel eyes are gleaming. And the playful smirk on his lips...

“Ah... I really love hearing your voices. You are all the cherry on top of our shows. I just hope that you won’t get tired of my voice as well.” He chuckled. My heart beats even faster. Halos magwala na ang mga babae at parang gusto na ata syang abutin sa stage at isako na lang pauwi.

“I will never get tired of your voice!”

The women keeps screaming and praising their entire band. Kitang-kita ko pa ang ginagawang pag-ngisi at pagkindat ng bahista nila sa kabilang side kaya halos mabaliw na ang mga tao ro’n.

“We will be performing 5 songs from our last album and we will cover 3 other songs. Gather yourselves and let’s fucking hype this night!” Once again, the crowd screamed loudly when Tase Mortell, the drummer, hit his drums. Sumunod sina Zath Accardi, ang bahista, Castriel Sanz, lead guitarist at ang kanilang keyboardist na si Paesyn Holeary.

The goosebumps and the tingling sensation on the pit of my stomach attacked me again when I heard his raw voice. Umawang na lang ang aking labi habang titig na titig sa kaniya. Hindi ko magawang makitalon at makisigaw sa mga babaeng nakapalibot sa’kin dahil hindi ko na maialis ang tingin sa kaniya.

He’s rocking the stage expertly. He performs and sing very well. Their band can hype the crowd with their music so easily...

Bago pa ako makatalon at makisigaw ay biglang nagtagpo ang mata namin ni Rush Zedova. My breathing hitched as I met his intensed eyes. Is it really me that he’s looking at or the person beside or behind me?

Rinig ko ang mas lalong pagwawala ng mga katabi ko dahil sa mata ni Rush Zedova na ngayo’y nakatuon sa gawi namin. I gulped when he continued singing while looking at me, or at the person beside or behind me. The every beats of my heart just worsen as I felt the coldness of my palms. I feel so nervous but giddy.
