Firefighter Down

The ambulance pulled up at the doors where Dawson and Shay were standing. Casey jumped out and stood by Herman who was lying on the stretcher.
"Matt," Gabby called with tears in her eyes.
She ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him muffling her tears into his jacket."
"I thought it was you, I was so worried," she whispered as they walked along side the gurney.
"I'm okay," he replied kissing the top of her head.
"What happened to Herrmann?"
"We fell through the ceiling. He just needs to be looked over.
"Well you need to be looked at too," she replied. "Come with me."
Gabby lead Matt to the exam room and got him checked out. After that they returned to the waiting lobby for news on Herrmann.
"He's gonna be okay," Gabby whispered taking his hand.
"Yeah...yeah I know....."
"I love you Matt."
"I love you too," he smiled.
"I've been thinking....."
"Yeah?"
"Can we get married? I know we have to be carful with head quarters but I want...."
Matt cut her off with a kiss.
"I want the same," he said pulling away. "Tomorrow we can start planning."
