KUZCO, heir to the throne, could care less about the Kuzconian Realm. He would rather have his head buried in a book or his latest conquest. The Elders, who help the Emperors of Kuzconian with decision-making, hated who Kuzco was becoming so they give him a mission, and send him to Asgard to get a peace treaty signed by Thor.
The catch is, Kuzco hates Thor because they're exactly alike only Kuzco doesn't see it that way. He thinks the blonde Prince is arrogant and full of himself when in reality Kuzco is the same way. But because he cares about his family, he obeys with only one goal to sabotage the peace treaty signing because he wants the Elders to step down, that's his goal.
Instead, on the night of Thor's coronation the two of them drink a little too much mead and end up falling into bed together, they wake up in bliss until they find out who they're next to. Kuzco tries to separate himself but he can't part from Thor, no matter how many people he tries to get with to in theory erase Prince Thor Odinson from his memory, it's not going to work.
