It's another day. Elder noticed that Animal is reading for something, so he walked up to him.
,,What are you doing?" He questioned. Animal jumped a little not expecting Elder to be next to him. ,,Elder! Emmm I'm just getting ready for my look around. Wanna join me?"

Elder nodded, not really having anything else to do. Animal finished and walked towards the forest Elder and the chicken following him.

,,Can I give you nickname?" Elder said. He didn't really want to call him by his full name.

,,Emm sure" he answered surprised.

,,A"

,,What?" Animal looked at him confused.

,,That's your nickname. A. But if you don't li-."

,,No no I like it. A is fine."

They walked for a little bit. I wonder. Thought Elder. ,,A? Why does the chicken follow you?"

,,Oh you mean Ms Chicken? She is my companion and she was the first animal that spoke to me. So I guess you could say she is my family."

Elder nodded. He wasn't really surprised and kinda understood. When he was younger he would talk to polar bears even if he couldn't understand them. Surprisingly they never attacked him.

But the calm silence soon got disturbed by a quiet yelp. Both Steves looked at each other then into the direction of the sound. They walked to the bushes to see a short Steve behind them, but before they could get better look or question him, he started to sprint away.

,,HEY!" Screamed Elder running after him Animal following him.

The short was pretty fast, but not fast enough to lose. The two taller Steves called after him to stop, which didn't work. Because, the Steve saw them as danger.

It didn't take long for the short Steve to stop. A silent wow could be heard by him. The two Steves caught up to him.

Infront of them was a river, but not a normal one. The river was rainbow colored.

,,Will you please stop running? We are not gonna hurt you." Elder said. The short Steve smiled and nodded. They could finally get a better look at him.

The Steve had red with yellow tips hair and skin pale spots. He wears a red scarf with a lightning like pin, yellow shirt and dark red shorts with red shoes.
His orange eyes are full of calmness and happiness.

,, I'm sorry for running away. I thought you ar- nevermind. My name is Flame. I'm partial red and yellow Steve. But, I have never seen anyone like you." Flame said.

,, I'm Animal Steve and this is Elder blue Steve."

After a short talk they went to the clearing. Flame leaving to the last house taking it as his.
I think I found a new family. Was the last thought of his day.
