HEY GUYS! I worked really hard on this story! And would love if you guys wrote in the comments what you thought and suggestions to make the story better🥰 happy reading!

"It's going to be great! Trust me!"
This was what my father told me on the ride to the airport. We were going to London. I had left my whole life back in New Jersey. My bestfriend, Sasha, and all my other friends. Looking back at it now, school kind of sucked for me. My life their kind of sucked for me. Everyone was fake and cruel. They all talked bad about eachother even my supposed bestfriend talked bad about me. Maybe London was a better place...? Maybe they weren't fake and nasty? But what if they were worse? What if they were even meaner and I'll be begging to go home. This is the worst. I hate going somewhere and not being able to know what's coming. I hate it. My little brother is frowning beside me, he hates the move as well. I can't blame him. He was popular in school and had good friends, his life was perfect. Can't relate.
"Don't look so sad, guys. London can be fun." My mom says with an optimistic smile.
Me and my brother both groan. My mom gives up and frowns as well. She hated this too but she was supportive. This job was supposed to be a big deal for my dad, he supposed to get paid double then he used to. I guess that's something.
After a long plane ride that made me extremely nauseous, we were finally in London. We had bought a house on Clink street. As our cab driver brought us to our new house, I watched the streets as little kids on bicycles and scooters came by. They looked carefree and happy. It wasn't like my old street in New Jersey, there was never much going on there. We finally pull up to our new house.
My mom turns around to me and my brother. "So....? Isn't it nice??" She says with a big smile.
It was hard not to smile back when my mom smiled.
"Yeah it's nice." I replied.
"Aiden?" She turned toward my little brother.
He rolled his eyes. "Eh."
The house was pretty nice. It was similar to our old house, they were both two leveled and picket fence ish.
The inside was nice too. We got three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A cozy living room and pretty big kitchen. I walked up to my new room and it was roomy. It had light purple walls, a queen sized bed, desk and a dresser. The closet was also pretty spacious. I got settled in and went downstairs to find my mom trying to work the stove.
"It's different from the one back home." She mutters to my dad.
"I think you have to twist it." He tells her.
I walk past them and grab some pizza. We had ordered some from a place called Yorkshire Pizza. Who names a pizza place that? In New Jersey it was always either called Vinnys pizza or some Italian name. As I picked up the pizza I instantly put it back.
"Ew!" I exclaim.
My mother and father both turn to me.
"What is it Niki?" My dad asks.
"The pizza is dripping with oil and theirs some kind of spice on it." I take a sniff of the pizza.
"That's oregano. They put it on the pizza." My dad says with a chuckle.
"They don't have good pizza here! Seriously."
"I know right." My brother says, walking into the kitchen with his Nintendo in his hand.
"This sucks." I mutter.
"I know it may seem like it sucks now but it can get better. Bad pizza isn't a reason not to like this place. I think we can really make a home here." My mom says, reasonably.
"Yeah I guess you're right. I'm being bratty, aren't I?" I reply.
"Maybe just a little." My dad says, laughing.
I roll my eyes.
"Have a bite of the pizza." My dad says.
"Fine." I say taking a bite, expecting the worst but it actually wasn't bad.
It wasn't as good as Vinnys Pizza but it wasn't completely nasty. I finished the alice and went up to my room to call Sasha.
"Hey sash." I say through the phone.
"Hey, girl. What's up? How's London? Meet any cute boys?" She asks.
"Nope. Things are actually kind of sucky."
"Oh no that sucks. Hey listen I've got to go. Ryan is doing Jell-O shots right infront of Jessica, the party pooper..."
"Jessica?" I ask in surprise. "You're with Ryan and Jessica doing Jell-O shots?"
"Well yeah! Duh." She exclaims.
"Who is this!?" Someone shouts through her phone. Sasha laughs and says. "It's Niki. Nik! I've got to go talk to you later bye."
And she hangs up. And that is when I begun to loose my bestfriend. I decide to try and stop overthinking by putting on some music and it was working until my mom knocked on my door.
"Hey honey." She says from the doorway.
"Yes mom?" I reply.
"I just came to remind you that you have to go to your new school tomorrow to get the uniform and meet the principal."
"Uniform!?" I shout.
"Oh I was dreading this part." My mom mutters.
My fashion style is everything to me! London is not taking that away from me.
"I'm not wearing uniform mom!"
"Oh come on, honey. If I could have it any other way I would but we can't so don't be difficult. This is hard enough as it is. We don't need this." She snaps.
I groan. "Yeah okay. I'm sorry, I'll try and be easier."
"Great. Good night, honey." She says, closing my door.
"Goodnight." I respond.
That night I slept horribly. All the fear and anxiety kept me tossing and turning in my sleep. What if I hated it here?
The next day was supposed to be better but it wasn't. I had weird tasting toast and eggs for breakfast. My mom said she was trying to adapt to the british lifestyle. At least she's having a semi fun time here. She loves to cook so this should be fun for her.
The school I'm supposed to be attending is a five minute walk away so I insisted I walk. When I got there I couldn't believe what I saw.
