{Y/N POV}

"SHHHH" I spat in my friend's face. We were attempting to tip-toe back up the stairs quietly when my friend, Hyunjin, tripped and fell backwards, butt first. 

'Yikes, someone definitely heard that' I thought to myself, internally face palming. "Hello? Who-" Mrs. Beker shined a bright flashlight into our faces and we looked like deer in headlights, then squinting our eyes from the bright light.

 "Y/N and Hyunjin, what are you do doin' sneakin' around at 4 in the mornin'?" Mrs. Beker asked sternly.

 I could feel my friend's eyes piercing through me, then he spoke, "Uhm, Y/N had to use the bathroom and.... She was too scared to go by herself!" Hyunjin lied. 

I would say he's a good liar but that didn't stop my legs from shaking and my buttcheeks from being clenched.

"Do you need ice, Hyunjin?" Mrs. Beker asked, showing little concern. Hyunjin shook his head, which was expected, despite his dramatic demeanor he's tough.

 Mrs. Beker followed us up into our rooms, not turning that bright flashlight off. It was practically morning so Hyunjin and I didn't sleep. 

Hyunjin is my drama llama best friend. He is always cleaning up my dumb decisions. For example, every night I convince him to go with me to my favorite place, the sunflower field. Ever since I was thrown into this lab called JYP lab. I have found sunflowers comforting. 

Hyunjin has been in this lab for longer than me, he's now 14 so that means he's been here for about 6-7 years! I've only been here for about 4 years, I was only 10 when I was taken. We didn't start talking to each other until 2 years of being in this laboratory.

The scientists in this lab are tryna find a way to give humans powers. So far they only found out that the options They have are mind reading, speed, strength, and mind control. The experiments only affect children ages 6-14 which means only one more day I'm gonna be released! Uh Huh, that's right, it's gonna be my birthday!

 But this didn't excite Hyunjin at all. He was devastated that I was leaving. It may have been the dramatic talking but I don't know. 

My last night spent at the sunflower field was a heartbreaking scene, Hyunjin's tears reflected the bright moon and twinkling objects making the inky sky look a dark shade of blue. I hugged him and rubbed his back, feeling the soft material of the JYP outfits and hearing the soft sniffles of the crying llama. 

This is the night, the night on before my 15th, the night before I leave JYP lab. and Hyunjin.
