Mike's POV

We did it!  We actually did it! We just pulled of the biggest heist ever! The crew and I had been planning for weeks, there wasn't a situation we didn't account for. Each of us now running towards our getaway car, heavy bags of money on our backs. We jumped into the car and our driver sped off, we were getting away with it too. Hudson had mapped out an area in which the cops wouldn't be able to find us, it was perfect, except for the fact that when we arrived there were four cars waiting to ambush us.

The car came to a fast halt and we all jumped out, getting sprayed by bullets as we did. I got out of the car on Hudson's side to avoid the bullets but it wasn't that easy, it never is, we had no where to go. Logan tossed me a M16 and I started hosing down the ambush. There was only a few of them left and by this time only me and Hudson were left standing. We had to use the guns from our fallen comrades as ours lost ammo fast. I had just turned around to grab Hudson another mag when I heard him yell. "Fuck! Mike I'm hit!" I spun round hoping to save my best friends life "I've got you Hud, your gonna make it man!" The police showed up not soon after and the gunfire ceased.

I pulled Hudson back into the car and I drove away, he managed to tell be another location we could hide out in, Luckily this one was a house and not some ally way. I helped Hudson out of the car and into the house, I lay him down on the couch. It was at this point I realized just how bad his wound was, the bullet had gone into his side but not out the other. If I didn't get him help he would die. I started to pull him up, even with all the heat on us, he needed a doctor. "Mike, I'm not gonna make it man. Leave me here." Hudson wasn't thinking straight, I know his condition was bad but I knew if we left now he would live. Non the less, he wouldn't go with me, he was set on dying. I thought if he was gonna go, I'd be there with him, till the end. He died next to me a few minuets later.

A Few Weeks Later

I managed to track down the fuckers who killed Hudson and the rest of my crew. It wasn't very hard, they don't seem to care about hiding from others, however their crew seems much larger than I first thought. It's going to be hard to hunt them down and kill them all, I'll just have to take it one day at a time.

I've decided to have my own personal steak out tonight as there is supposedly going to be some of there crew out near the old highway where I live. There is a new parking lot there that, although its new, lots of crime lords like to hang around there. I jumped in my car and headed down to the meet up. For some reason these guys like to take their sweet ass time getting to the locations. Mother fuckers think they run this city, they'll soon think otherwise. It felt like ages, I was getting bored and sinking way to far into my seat, so much so it became uncomfortable, they showed up in a big black van. Typical. Four guys stepped out and met up with two other guys, there was defiantly a deal going on. I crept out of my car and sneaked round the side of another car to get a closer look.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but I could see one back being passed between the two groups. I knew that if I was ever going to get their leader by best chance was now. I slowly pulled out my pistol knowing that I would be able to sneak up on one and make them fess up. Just as I was about to grab one of them a woman came out behind another car shouting " IIB! Hands where I can see them." She ruined my plan, as well as the two guys that were with her, they took my leads away. Sadly they spotted me.

"Who've we got here? Name."

"Michael"

"What you doing here Mike?"

"Investigating"

"Investigating what?"

"These Guys"

"You don't say much do you?"

I didn't respond, I was stood at this point but I didn't want to talk too much as I could be suspicious. I mean I already was, being at a deal and all but I didn't want to get caught up with the IIB. I was so wishing I was away from this conversation, it was not something I wanted to become a regular thing. I blinked and she was gone. Or was I gone? I didn't actually know where I was, the whole place I was just in had disappeared. I was standing in the middle of my apartment. "What the fuck?"

Present day

I'm still thinking over that day, its been a week now and its not happened again. However, other  strange things have been happening lately, like this morning I was just about to leave my apartment when I heard someone say "I wish Mike would stop coming home so late, it keeps waking me up" I locked my door trying to take no notice but when I went down the first flight of stairs I thought Id say sorry about my time schedule. "Sorry by the way, for coming home late" I thought i'd be nice for a change you know "How did you know I thought that?" Wait, he didn't say it? I mean it would explain how it sounded like he was right next to me. "Sorry, I don't understand" He just scoffed and turned back into his house. Okay, freaky but not be one place and then another freaky so I'm going to roll with it. This week has been strange, I'm thinking about finding those detectives and telling them I was sorry for ditching so quickly last Tuesday.

Thinking back I remember her saying "IIB". Time to go googling, after one search I found it, It even had the address and GPS location on the google page. Easy. I jump into my car and put on some tunes. It isn't too far away, just over a 20 min drive. Hope I can figure out something to do.

-Time jump to IIB-

I pulled up outside the IIB building and realized that I have no idea who im asking for. Well too late now, I guess I can ask for the team who worked on the Garcia case. I walk though the sliding glass doors and walk up to the front desk. "Excuse me, could  see the detectives who worked on the Garcia case this Tuesday?" This isn't going to work. "Why yes, I will call their superior and I will give you a time that they are free." Excuse me! That actually worked? Well, im not going to question it.

I've been sat here for 20 minuets, just looking around the station. I've never been to one before, which shows how lucky of a criminal I was. It was actually quite nice, and this was just the reception, The walls were a dark blue and there were plants doted around the place, one wall was made of windows so I spent a little time watching the world go by.

After another five minuets the receptionist bellowed me over. "They can see you now, however it is only Detective Chloe Walker and Detective Anthony Rivera. Is that okay?" The fact that I'm able to do this is great! "Yes, that's great. Thanks" I walked through the double doors on the left hand side of the reception and was welcomed to a corridor of offices and elevators. Now to find the meeting, which I should have asked about but im sure someone will arrive soon. As if on cue the elevator stopped on my floor and a cop walked out, I stopped him before he left "Sorry, but could you tell me where meetings with detectives take place?" He seemed nice enough "Sure, take the elevator to floor 5 and it should be the door to your right." Seems easy to remember "Thanks mate"

In the meeting room I seemed to have arrived first. I waited for another five minuets till the two detectives came in, they looked very professional. Well at least they did till they spotted me. "Hello again. Michael was it?" She seemed on edge "Yes. I wanted to apologize for ditching you on Tuesday"

"Apology accepted but you didn't ditch us, well you did accept you kind of disappeared. If was very strange." Anthony said

"Yes, It was. And to be next to you and for you to be gone withing a blink of an eye was amazing!" Chloe added

"I just wanted to say sorry and that I don't exactly know what happened that day." I still don't

"Well I can tell you one thing, your disappearing act shook us so much we managed to get the rest of the day off, so I guess we owe you a thanks." Anthony stated

"Ha, glad to help." I said a little confused still

"Hey, why don't you come back around eight and we can talk this over and try to figure out what happened?" Chloe suggested

"That sounds like a great idea" I said

And with that I was out of the station and awaiting my eight o'clock talk with the detectives. You know I kind of like working with the good guys, maybe it will help my investigation into Hudson's murder. And my crew, I'm not sure if they matter as much as Hudson I mean I didn't even know our drivers name.
