Chapter 8

We're all in shock when he called me 'babe' syempre baka iba ang isipin ng girlfriend nya.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BAABBEE?" Jaira laughed.

"Babe? Sinong babe Quirroh?" tanong ni Aerinna kay Quirroh na parang naiinis ang mukha. "Sya?" she pointed me.

"Yes, love. She is babe" sabi ni Quirroh.

" I thought she's Leissiana?" my eyes widened when she suddenly say my name.

I am so surprised when she suddenly said my name. Who are you Aerinna? Why do you know me?

"Leissiana? Sinong Leissiana?" bilang tanong ni Riley.

"Sya" Aerinna said while her brows raised and looked at me up and down.

Oh, Aerinna. Don't go there. "Me! I am Leissiana Leighianne Villarin" I said like I am so proud with my name. "Nice meeting you Aerinna" I said to her with a my devil smile at diniinan ko ang pagkaka-sabi ng pangalan nya. " Hello, Quirroh Alexis. I am Leissiana, you can also call me "Lei" but not your 'Babe'." I saw Quirroh stopped for a while like he was in shock and my friends of course. I left them with a creepy smile on my face.

Surprised now Quirroh? I was bothered why Aerinna know my name? I don't even know her. Oh whatta small world! I am so pissed when we arrived home. I went upstairs just to relax and fix myself for New Years Eve celebration I still have an hour left.

" Why I am so pissed? " I asked myself.

I fixed myself and I went downstairs I saw some of my cousins were already there. I gave them a smile and a kiss on their cheeks. I am not that close to my cousins because they know my attitude at saaming lahat ako lang yung medyo maldita. 'MEDYO'

"Oh Leighianna, How are you?" Tita Rixa asked me. She's a younger sister of my Dad.

"Doing fine tita." I simply answered with a little smile on my face.

I bond with my cousins and they were surprised that I joined them playing 'Uno'. While our parents were busy talking and also preparing for the dinner. It's our family tradition that we always celebrate New Years together. This time sa bahay pero last year sa bahay nila tita Rixa.

We ate dinner together and we talked a lot of experiences and our adventures in the year 2013. We're like reminiscing all that happened in this year because we will not meet this year again. Some cried while sharing like their dog died, something like that. After dinner we went outside to watch fireworks that dads prepared. It was a tiring day for me and we went to sleep together in the Living Room just us 'cousins'.

After celebrating a New Year we went on a family trip like what we always do. We went on the nice resort owned by my mom's brother Uncle Julius. I was so relieved kasi kahit papano hindi ko na masyadong naiisip si Josh or si Quirroh.

Days passed nothing serious happened until the class resumed. Of course lahat ng pinapagawa e kung ano yung New Year Resolutions mo. I hate this because for me it is private. All I want is to have a satisfaction this year so that I can call it a "GOOD YEAR".

Sunday came and I am preparing myself for the mass. I wore a black fitted dress that shows my curve and a pair of simple sandals. Me and Dad went to the church together kasi na una na sila ni Earl at ni Mommy. There's a part of me that want to see Quirroh pero naiinis ako kasi naalala ko si Aerinna. Hindi parin matanggal sa isip ko kung bakit kilala nya kung sino ako. Siguro friends of friends?

Mass ended but I didn't saw Quirroh. Nagyaya'ng mag breakfast sina Vienna at Vionna sa bahay nila kasi walang tao. Both of their parent were always busy, I joined them because wala naman akong gagawin hindi narin kami gaanong nagkikita kasi may klase na at iba ang mga sections namin. Bless was my classmate ever since grade school until now and Vienna and Vionna was always classmates too, noon classmate pa nila si Briscia kaso nag kanda-bagsak-bagsak siya kasi puro lalaki ang inaatupag kaya classmate sila ni Jaira ngayon.

"Tita, we'll have breakfast sa bahay isasama namin si Lei" paalam ni Vienna kay mommy. I'm little surprised because she called me 'Lei' nasanay kasi akon 'babe' ang tawag nila sakin.

"Yeah sure, no problem. Take care girls" mom said with a smile on her face. Nagsimula na kaming maglakad patungong bahay ni Vienna.

"Magkapit-bahay lang naman kayo pero maka 'take care' ang mommy mo ang OA" nagulat ako nang nag salita si Briscia. She's a little bit cold lately.

I just smiled at her hindi ko nalang sya pinansin kasi baka mag-away lang kami. I am thinking why Quirroh did not served the mass today. Nang makadating kami sa bahay ng kambal umupo ako sa sofa.

"Brish, busy ka ata kaka-text ah?" Vionna said. "Bago na naman boyfriend mo?" She tried to look over Briscia's phone pero nilayo nya ito.

"No, its Neil. Lumayo ka nga vionna" she said at nag ti-text naman ulit.

I stand up and went to the kitchen ang ingay  kasi nila. "Is there anything I can help?" I asked Veinna 

"No, Lei okay lang" Vienna answered while frying some eggs and I saw Jaira ang Bless preparing the plates. So I just watched Vienna cooking. After 30 minutes tapos na siyang magluto hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog pala ako sa Kitchen Island nila. I checked the time on my phone and it's already 10:32 the last time I checked the time its around 9:58.

"Lei, natulog ka na naman!" sigaw sakin ni Vionna "Hindi ka ba napapagod kakatulog?" she asked me. "Halika na doon na tayo kumain sa mahabang mesa" she told me and I followed her.

When I got there everything is prepared we wait for a while kasi umuwi daw si Jairah kasi hindi sya nakapagpaalam sa Mommy niya at na iwan nya ang cellphone nya. We were so quite for just a second until Briscia asked me.

"Hey Lei, magkakilala ba kayo ni Aerinna? she suddenly asked me out of nowhere. I really don't want to answer it because I got pissed when I heard her name, I don't know why. "because I'm just surprised last time that she called you 'LEISSIANA'." she continued.

Yes, not everyone know my name because even at school hindi ako nag papakilalang si "LEISSIANA" ako. All my teachers and friends called me "Leighianne". I don't want to be called Leissiana because napapangitan ako not until Josh called me Leissiana siya lang ang tumatawag sakin niyan, ewan ko ba pero kapag siya ang tumatawag sakin parang gumaganda ang pangalan ko at masarap sa ears. Only few people know my full name including these girl that I am with right now, some teachers and my family of course.

"Uhm... No, honestly I don't now her. I am surprised too that she called me Leissiana" i answered. "kasi alam nyo naman na hindi ko masyadong ginagamit ang pangalan na yan" i explained. Most people call me "Lei" for "LEIghianne" even some of my relatives don't know that my full name was Leissiana Leighianne.

"She's gorgeous right?" Briscia asked everyone but she stared at me like she's waiting for my answer.

I just shrugged but our friends agreed. Well, I can't blame them because truly she's gorgeous pero kapag naiisip kong girlfriend sya ni Quirroh nagiging pangit sya sa paningin ko. Ugghh! Quirroh again! fuck.  After that, everyone's busy like Bless was reading a book, Vienna and Vionna were talking about family stuffs and Briscia's busy with her phone and there's me, just waiting for Jaira so that I can eat already and go home because I wanna sleep. After a while Jaira came but suddenly Briscia stand up.

"Wait... Uhmmm... Vienna can you prepare two more plates?" she asked Vienna.

"Why?" Vienna was confused.

"Basta. We'll be back" she run through the door at hinatak si Jaira para samahan sya.

I was pissed because I am hungry. Kung kelan nandyan na si Jaira saka pa sya umalis na naman. I tried to asked Vienna if I can just eat first so that I can go home na because I want to take a nap. But she refused she said minsan lang daw to' at pabalik na daw sila. She prepared a two plates like what Briscia said.

After a 5 minutes Jaira entered the house then Briscia followed with...

QUIRROH AND AERINNAAAA?! tf?! Seriously Briscia what are you up to?!
