Alice's pov:
"James Potter come back here right now!" I yelled, chasing after my best friend, who had run into the tottering building that belonged to his grandparents. I am exactly 3 months older than him, but he is so much faster than me!
"No chance Longbottom!" Came the cheerful reply. Fortunately, he hadn't been looking in front of him, and promptly crashed into his Uncle George. George peeled him of and laughed at the dazed look on his normally cocky face. It was quite funny, but James looked very embarrassed. Serves him right.
"C'mon James, your mum's yelling at us", I said, pulling at his sleeve. "Do you really want to be late for Hogwarts?" As soon as I said the h-word, James perked up.
"Race you!" He yelled over his shoulder, before sprinting to the car, where Ginny was waiting. "Git!"I yelled at him, before I felt something grab my stomach.
"Slower than usual?" Asked Teddy Lupin (his parents died in the 2nd Wizarding War, so the Potters sort of adopted him. Not officially though, as everyone except James knows he has a huge crush on Victorie, James oldest cousin), as he lifted me off my feet and started chasing after James. We drew level with Jim, before Teddy tripped over a stray chicken, crashed into James, and fell flat on the ground, with me falling on top of James. We sat there, feebly giggling, before a cry of "Teddy! Are you hurt?" Came our way. It was Victoire, or Vic as she likes to be called. Teddy immediately stood up, brushing his fingers on his jeans, looking bashful.
"I'm fine, Vic, no worri- " Teddy began, before a chorus of very out of tune voices was heard: "Teddy and Vic, sitting in a tree," George and the rest of James' cousins yelled. Me and James looked at each other. James winked.
" K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!!!" screeched me and James, as out of tune as the rest of them, "First comes love, second comes marriage, third comes a baby in the baby carriage!!!!" We finished, George, Fred (a cousin) , and James in falsetto, before collapsing into laughter at the sight of Vic, beetroot coloured, and Teddy, scarlet faced, and his hair slowly following suit. I love the Weasley-Potters
