M I C H A E L ' S P O V

The usual video game sounds echoed throughout my small room. It was also accompanied by my rapid hands pressing on the controller.

Bang! Bang!

I pressed on a certain button that defends my player, unfortunately the bullet passed through me; making the character to fall down and bleed to death.

"GAME OVER." The deep robot-like voice said over the speakers.

Frustrated, I dropped the controller unto the floor and sighed. "Fuck my life."

In a second, a familiar head peeped through my door, almost scaring the hell out of me. She has her blonde hair tied in a bun, and there were prominent eye bags under her eyes; there were the results of her hardwork.

"Well," she said while slowly emerging into my room, revealing her usual home clothing. "as much as I like hearing the word fuck, but I really don't like my son swearing."

I groaned in an annoyed manner then stood up from the seat, making my way to my bed and laid down. My back was pressed on a soft surface while I was looking at the plain ceiling.

On the corner of my eye, I saw Mom sitting on my previous seat then turned to look at me. She was smiling to herself, like she was remembering something happy. While, I kept on staring at the white ceiling, like it was something interesting.

I couldn't take it anymore. I rolled over my right to face Mom, and her smile immediately became wider. Her whole face lit up, like when a child received candy. I smiled back.

She raised her right arm, just enough for her to check on her wrist watch. "Aren't you going to Luke's?"

It felt like I was hit by a truck, but I still managed to mumble "Shit" while I sprinted out my room.

"No swearing!" Mom had shouted.

Instead of driving to Luke's house, I decided that it would be better to walk instead.

The cool breeze went by, making my skin to feel cold and turn into a chicken-like skin. My beanie flew away, landing on an approximately two meters from me. I rolled my eyes before I walked towards it, getting real tired of this.

But, this is band practice - it pumps my adrenaline. I get to to do the things I truly love (aside from video games), plus I get to enjoy doing it with my best mates.

As I bent to pick up my beanie, a strange dog bone appeared from the bottom. It randomly showed up, like it was magnetized or something. Chill immediately went up my spine.

But, then I looked at it again and it was gone.

"What the hell?" I exclaimed. It was utterly weird though; you can't just randomly see a dog bone that erupted from below. I sighed and shook my head as I wore my beanie, thinking how late I am and how Luke is going to fucking kill me.

"You are late-again!" Obviously, Luke shouted that.

I shrugged innocently then took a hold of my guitar. It was leaning on the wall of Luke's garage, still looking wicked as ever. I run my fingers through the strings, as usual the awesome sound was heard.

Calum came to the rescue. "Chill, Luke. It's like you aren't used to it."

"Whatever," that was the blonde's response.

We began to play a few songs. Ashton was cool with his drums, no single mistake. Calum was really great; the bass was perfect. Luke was fucking amazing. His voice would always go with the beat; he may shout at me for my lateness but he is very talented.
