Shadow - part 16

Ricky and I left the house very early. When we got there, I felt kinda lost. When I walked into the school, I felt very sad. When I was in Ohio, usually I entered school with Lina. Now it's all so far.

All around were the students, different religions, nations ... It will be hard to get used to this.

-Nina, is everything all right? -Ricky said.

-Yeah, I just remembered something.

We first met our English teacher, Ms. Henley. She was very smart, but strict, shortly after the start, made it clear to us that we have much to learn.

-If you have a certificate in English, you can bring them to the next lecture. This will improve the assessment and allow you to participate in contests. -Ms. Henley said.

I do not have any certificate, but I hope to have a positive grade in English.

During lunch, Ricky and I met with some friends from our class. In our class is Rebbeca, she has long shiny black hair and a long, beautiful legs. She often spoke to Ricky, and flattering him. That made me very, very angry.

When they finally passed the last two lectures, returning home with Ricky, I started talking:

-I see you like Rebbeca.

-Yes, she's a good friend. She wants to help me in the lessons from the Spanish.

-Friend? Mmm ... She will help you? Well okay, then let Rebbeca help you with all lessons, I surely will not!

I started running with tears in my eyes. I knew this would happen. I knew it!

-Nina stop! I don't understand, what's wrong?

 When I entered the house, I quickly rushed to my room and locked up.

 After a few minutes I heard Ricky's voice:

-Nina open the door, please!

-I will not, go away!

-It is also my room, not just yours, so open the door.

I opened the door with a pillow and blankets in hand.

-I will sleep in the living room. -I said.

I just turned and walked toward the living room. Ricky was talking something, and I didn't understand, or didn't want to understand it. And even if I wanted to understand it, I couldn't.
