Chapter 179: Sacrifice

"Oi! You shouldn't underestimate your senior so much, I agree that you may possess immense strength but that is all, you can't always outsmart a person who utilize everything just to win" stressed Alduin as he stood up form the ground and tried to size up Raguel who was inside Hibiki's body

"Utilize? Strategy? Tactics? Tricks? All of them are meaningless infront of pure power" he retorted

Hearing that Alduin couldn't help but feel insulted because of that

"What? What did you say brat?"

"I'm saying I can overpower you without any need for mortal tricks whatsoever" stated Raguel as he looked down upon Alduin as if he was nothing

Finally snapping from his patience Alduin bursted out his magic power like a torrent of waves as he smiled like a crazed warrior at Raguel

"Great! You think you can get away just like that? You think your so tough? The world is bigger than you know it kid! Too big that not even your mind can handle"

Just as Alduin said that he quickly conjured a complicated machinery above him as he gathered a huge Mana from it's muzzle and prepared to fire it off towards Raguel

Faced off with such complicated structure the Celestial simply shrugged it off as his wings suddenly flaps it's feathers off while at the same time turning the plucked off feather into streams of light that attacked the Beastman hero non-stop for a few 10 seconds

"Gah!"

As the barrage finished the machinery however crumpled into nothingness as it's conjurer was brought down by one mere attack from a being much stronger than him

"Know your place mortal" bellowed Raguel

Following that he turned his attention towards Kaido and sent numerous air waves towards him

As if realizing that the airwaves were fatal, Kaido quickly pushed Ingrid away from the front and held out his hands as he formed layer after layer of psychic barrier

But as time goes by Kaido himself was struggling just to keep the barrier up and going, for each attack of the airwaves was equivalent on having a high-speed bullet train suddenly slamming against you at his top speed

With that it didn't take long until it forces him to held on his barrier around his body to act as a body shield from the companions he had behind him

Seeing this however made everyone grow worried for him especially his so called daughter that had struggled to pull him out of harm's way

"Hmm! Looks like you got some people you cared about, are you trying to be a hero or something?" Asked Raguel

As he asked this Kaido finally kneeled unto the ground bloodied all over his body as he weakly smiled at him without forgetting his signature mocking stare

"First off their beneficial for me later on, second I considered them as my subordinates, third your a big group of the good side, of course a big gun should always be faced by another big gun, fourth you considered yourself a hero in the right, while you considered me as a villain who is irritating like a bug, it's just a matter on which story your perspective are reading... . . If you look at yours as your the main character of your own story, then it's understandable that people will see you as a good guy rather than the bad guy since your the main character and same goes for me too bob, and lastly fifth I'm no hero, I'm a smartass punk villain and that's a fact" stated Kaido putting stress on his every word

After hearing this Raguel sigh dejectedly

"But if what you said is true, then in the end the villain always looses"
