Morgiana walked into the room and stopped when she noticed I didn't follow.

"I know it's a lot to get used to," she sympathized. "But you can come in you know."

I looked at Rupal who was leaning into a small bow, her brown locks falling around her face.

I mirrored her actions, bowing deeply before entering Morgiana'a room.

I almost didn't want to walk inside. The room itself shined in the natural lighting. I made sure to step around the patterned rugs that decorated the floor, and refused to let myself sit on any of the crisp, white furnishings with my tattered clothes.

"I definitely died that day you found me," I spoke in awe.

She giggled. "It sure feels that way the first few times. When King Sinbad first brought us here, I reacted the same way. I still feel shocked sometimes."

I walked over to the window and peered down at the city below. It seemed so small from where I was standing.

"Do you want that tour? Before dinner?"

I nodded my head and followed her as we walked the maze of corridors. I made a mental note not to wander around by myself in this place. Chances were I'd get lost and never be found.

Our first stop was Aladdin and Alibaba's rooms, which were equally as luxurious as Morgiana's. She then lead me through the throne room, training grounds, and courtyard which all made my head swirl from their beauty. It was astonishing and almost unbelievable that a boy I grew up with created this for himself. Created a country of beauty and peace from less than nothing.

Morgiana lead me back in the direction I thought her room was, but I was wrong. She stopped in front of a set of double doors made from dark wood and sparkling quartz. "I think you'll like what I saved for the finale."

She swung open the doors and I could feel my knees become weak. In front of my very eyes, was a library filled from floor to ceiling with books.

"Welcome to the library," Morgiana said.

"Can I go inside?" I asked, receiving a nod in response.

Walking briskly into the room, I spun in a circle to absorb everything I was seeing and commit it to memory. The floor and shelves were all made of white marble. In contrast, the cushioned chairs by the window were jet black.

"I figured you'd like it. I'm sure King Sinbad won't mind if you come back here after dinner."

My smile faded once Morgiana mentioned dinner. I had been dreading the idea of a feast ever since the first time Alibaba brought it up. I didn't have the right attire for the occasion, and not only that, but I was never taught proper table manors that would be expected in a royal palace.

"I don't think I'm going to go," I admitted. "Look at me. I act and look like a slave, which I highly doubt would be accepted at a king's feast."

Morgiana frowned. "I know you think that kings and queens are these all mighty people with high expectations, but Sinbad isn't like that. He's different."

I opened my mouth to speak by stopped when Ja'far walked into the room.

"I'm sorry to intrude, but (Y/N)'s room is ready."

I glanced at Morgiana and she gave me a reassuring nod. "I'll see you at the party."

Before I could say anything, she darted out of the room. Leaving me alone with Ja'far.

"If you'd like to follow me, I'll show you to your temporary quarters."

I nodded and wrapped my hands in my rope before following him through the hallways. It didn't take long for me to figure out that Ja'far was leading me in the opposite direction of Morgiana's room.

"Our guest wing is full as of right now," he explained. "So you'll be staying in this wing of the palace until another room opens up."

He stopped and opened yet another set of double doors, and revealed a room that took my breath away.

Alibaba, Aladdin and Morgiana all had gorgeous rooms that were bigger and more grand than any house I've ever dreamed about. However, this room put them to shame.

A bed large enough to fit a small family was pressed again the wall to my right. Vibrant red curtains hung from the canopy and matched the sheets dressing the mattress. To my left, in the corner of the room, was a large bathtub decorated with rose petals and candles. Then, to top it all off, the view from the window displayed not only the courtyard and training grounds, but it had a picture perfect view of the ocean below.

"This is amazing," I sighed.

Ja'far smiled. "It's all yours until another vacancy comes up in the guest wing."

I spund around and vowed to Ja'far. My chest swelling with gratitude. "Thank you!"

A red hue tinted his cheeks. "You're welcome. The king wanted you to feel welcome and comfortable. I also provided you with an outfit for this evening."

Ja'far gestured behind me and I looked over to see a black dress spread out over one of the lounge chairs by the window.

I walked over and picked it up in my hands. Touching the stones and intricate bead work gingerly with my fingertips.

"Rupal will come get you in just over an hour. There's no rush to get ready."

Ja'far left the room, leaving me to stare at the beautiful dress in my hands.
