The ride was silent, but Maahi's mind was running with a lot thoughts.

The thought of Her parents behavior, The thought of her negative vibes, The thought of Aaric's weird behavior, when he got to know about media.

Why did Aaric hide his face in front of media, This thought was continuously bothering her more than any thoughts.

Should I ask him about this or not?, Her mind was battling with her that she should ask it or not?

Finally she gave up with her mind and asked him this question!

"Aaric, why did you cover your face when you got to know that there were media?" Maahi asked breaking the silence between them.

"Maahi, actually..." Aaric took a little pause as if he was thinking about it deeply, "actually, I didn't want to got down your and your parents reputation because of our court marriage."

He placed his hand on Maahi's hand, and continued.

"I didn't want that media get to know, we did this marriage without your parents blessings, and if they got to know this at the court then maybe they can crash your and mine reputation!", He looked at Maahi, "but don't worry, after sometime we will arrange our reception and there I'll announce about our marriage, and will tell them that we did not invite much guests at marriage, only family and friends!"

"You think a lot about me, thank you so much for all your love and care!" Maahi said kissing his cheek.

Aaric just smiled at her in reply. Once again the car went into silence, but Maahi once Break the silence.

"Aaric, I'm hungry. I didn't eat anything from the morning!" Maahi said rubbing her stomach with her hand.

"And can I ask you why didn't you eat from the morning?" He looked at her raising his one eyebrow, "didn't your parents give you food at morning?"

"No, actually mom came with Breakfast in the morning but I threw breakfast because of anger!" She hung her head down.

Aaric stopped his car at some restaurants.

"It's okay, but you shouldn't ditch your food!" Aaric said lifting her Chin by his index finger, "and if you will do it one more time then don't talk with me, ever! Do you get that?"

"Yes, boss!" She said with a little chuckle.

Aaric get out of the car before covering his face with hoodie which he wore in the car when he left from the court.

"You stay into the car, I'm going to buy food for!" He stopped Maahi from getting down to the car.

"But-" Maahi tried to say something but she was cut off by Aaric.

"I know what you like to eat!" He said with a wink.

He went and came with one cheese garlic bread, chilly potato and burger.

He handed the food to Maahi, and drove the car towards home.

"Don't you wanna eat something?" Maahi asked as she takes a small bite from cheese garlic bread.

"No, I'm not hungry. I didn't ditch my breakfast!" He said emphasizing the word ditch.

"Sorry!" She said holding both of her ears and making a cute puppy face.

"It's okay!" He smiled ruffling her hairs, "now finish your food before we reach at home!"

"And what if I don't finish it before we reach there!" Maahi asked without looking at him.
