Reddie's Love Story

Part 3, The Notebook Kiss

The next morning Eddie had awoken at 9am anxious for the day ahead of him. He got up and changed into his favorite peach collar shirt, along with some beige booty shorts.
He began getting ready for the day in his bedroom.

When it was almost 10am Eddie began to read, The Dead Zone. He enjoyed horror books way more than movies.

As Eddie was reading he heard a knock at the front door downstairs.

He shut the book and grabbed his backpack off his bed.
He ran downstairs yelling, "I'll get it mommy!"

The small boy opened the door to see standing in front of him, a tall boy with black curls for hair, a red baggy hoodie and ripped jean shorts.

"Eddi-" Richie began, but Eddie covered his hand before he could finish his sentence.

"Eddie Bear, who's at the door?"
"It's just Bill mom! I'll be gone for a little bit."
"okay just don't get hurt!"
"okay mommy"

Eddie walked out closing the door behind him.
"Why can't she know that i'm hear?"
"She doesn't like you, she thinks your trouble." Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Oh uh well let's just go."
"Okay Rich."
The Boys hopped on their bikes and went to the Quarry.

"So um, we should probably talk about last night." Richie hesitated at his sentence.
"What is there to talk about?" Eddie sassed.
"Well...." Richie was confused.
"Well what?"
"Did you enjoy it or anything?"
Eddie paused. Did he enjoy it? Of course he did!
But did Richie?
"Well i did. I enjoyed it a lot." Eddie replied hoping for the same respond.
Richie smiled. "I- I liked it to. But are you eve-"
"Yes, I am." Eddie replies to the unfinished question
Eddie couldn't help but smile back at the taller boy.

The boys parked they're bikes against a tree.
Richie than grabbed Eddie's hand and they walked toward the dirty water pond.
Eddie looked up and Richie and showed him his huge smile.
That caused Richie to pick up Eddie by the waist.
Eddie wrapped his legs around the tall boys red hoodie, and put his arms around his neck.

Richie felt Eddie first. Their lips touched once a again. It felt so powerful and strong. Richie gripped onto Eddie's small waist closer.
Their lips mouths moved together causing Richie to have that feeling again. This made them happy, more than happy.

Eddie felt loved for the first time ever.

They eventually pulled away at the same time, and Richie put him down.

Eddie blushed so much that his face turned red.

Richie tucked a strand of hair behind Eddie's ear and cupped his hand on his cheek.

And kissed him again. A short kiss this time. Eddie smiled, than his smiled turned into a giggle.

They stared at each other, gazing into their eyes, for a while.

Eddie finally broke the comfortable silence.

"Do- uh do you like me Richie?" Eddie asked, scared for a response.

"Of course i like you Eds"

They kissed once more.
