Monday
I was glad Alex told me the truth. I felt sorry for her though. She didn't deserve to be going through this. At least, we could help each other with this.
I saw Alex at her locker, it was lunch.
"Are you gonna go cafeteria?"
"Yeah, I'm just getting my lunch"
She looked happy. She had a certain glow in her. Maybe her telling me she selfharms helped her relax.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Hm, what?" I didn't realise I was staring at her. "Oh, nothing" I put my arm around her and we walked to the cafeteria.
Serena walked passed us and said "whore" she continied walking.
Alex's face dropped but her glow was still there, but not in her eyes. I stopped and asked "Are you ok?" I'm pretty sure she hates it when I ask her that.
"Yeah, I'm ok"
She clearly wasn't.
"Alex. Look me in the eyes and tell me the truth"
It took her a while but she told me the truth.
"Don't listen to Serena she's just jealous." I kissed her.
We continued to walk to the cafeteria.
